I bought these sanding drums (to pair up with my dremel) for shortening my toenails since (at 77 years old) I could not use toenail clippers any longer (just reaching down to my toes, let alone finger squeezing the clippers is nigh on impossible for me). They work great, however I suggest a small fan be used to blow the toenail dust away from you.

Used to smooth out the edges on a kydex holster I trimmed down with my dremel . Could’ve done better on my finish but it was smooth enough for me. It’s an inexpensive, great option that came with many pieces and grit levels. The mandrels seem durable enough for basic sanding jobs but haven’t tested it for more precise projects. I would give these 4.5 stars, but there’s no option for that. Some of the drums are a tight fit, while others are a little loose. However, you get plenty of replacements, so overall I’m satisfied with them. I used them to polish and shave down some metal, and they worked fine. They do wear out faster than the original ones, but since you get so many, I’d say it’s a fair trade for the price. Yes, I can recommend these drums.

So I have a LOT of Dremel's, attachments, and parts because I have a wood shop. As fast as the Dremel brand breaks and flies off when you're trying to microwork, I decided to try this brand. They're the same in quality but so much less expensive. This kit has different sizes, all 1/8" shank. I recommend buying a micro sized Phillips screw driver to change these out. The little Dremel wrench is difficult for me as I have 2x hands. Makes for a much quicker change.

-They wear out pretty quickly. These are not as durable as other no-name brands I've used. -I found 3 pieces so far that had globs of glue on them, making them useless. But the quantity makes up for it. -I'd say ok enough for the random projects that pop up in life. Maybe not great if you have a large project.

Lots of sanding drums. Fits the Hardell sander that I got on Amazon. Extremely happy with this purchase.

I will not need any more of these for some time. Well packaged and labeled. Fits the Dremel tool. So far a great value for the money I don’t have to buy other kits just to get the sanding bits I was looking for. Only used one so far and held together nicely.

Use this product all the time, however if you apply alot of pressure the sanding drum will come off. Best when feather sanding.

First thing I want to do is debunk the comments made by others about these being cheap quality and falling apart immediately. If you are using a sanding drum with your rotary tool, you MUST use a low speed. All sanding drums - including OEM (like Dremel) - will either fail immediately or after a few seconds if you to try to sand at high speed. Using a lower speed, these drums last a long time and perform well. These drums are good quality. They look and feel similar to Dremel branded drums. For each grit there are three different sizes. Included in the kit are enough spindles to put one of each size and grit. There are a few extra so I think the pack includes 24 spindles. Very handy to have a bunch ready to go. I did knock down from 5 stars because the spare spindles have at least 2 different sizes. They provide chucks for the different sizes, but it's a bit of a hassle. I likely will buy this again and do recommend them.

I loved this starter kit as there are enough drums to choose from. The wide variety of sand drums makes it a perfect choice for anyone using a rotary tool like the Dremel brand. I was very happy about the tools included with the sand drums. That saved me time when doing the work. The quality was as good as the leading brands in this market at a fraction of the cost. Would buy again when needed.

There are a variety of sizes and grits but the grits aren’t accurate. The 600 grit that I expected would polish actually damaged my resin item, as it’s definitely not a polishing grit. It sanded it unfortunately.
