My boyfriend is an artist, (mostly painting), although his day job is a geologist. He's been feeling incredibly stifled at the job lately, as there's little-to-no creative outlet available for him there. I had the idea to put together a little pack of cool art supplies that would be convenient to take to his office, (either leaving the supplies there in his desk, or taking them back and forth between home and work). That way he could spend some time drawing, painting, and generally being creative at lunch or whenever he felt inspired. So I bought a pack of these painting marker/pens, along with a mixed media art notebook and some other art supplies/tools, for him for the holidays.He seemed stoked to receive the gifts, but I was still a bit hesitant about putting my stamp of approval on them...until today. He texted me while he was at work today, telling me that he got a chance to play around with the pens and that he absolutely loves them! He said that he's never used anything quite like them before, and they have a good feel to them. Apparently you can do a lot with them, using both broad and slender strokes, mixing colors, using them on various papers/canvas/materials. Obviously, they aren't a full substitution for his professional paints and full canvas, but he definitely enjoyed using them, highly recommends them to others, and when I asked whether I should get myself a set, (I'm no artist, but I still enjoy art for it's own sake), he answered with a strong, resounding, "Yes!"

Very very vibrant. Easily diluted with water to be more watercolor looking. They are so saturated that they could pass for regular markers unless you dipped them in water. Which is actually okay with me. They blendore easily than my Arteza ones while they are wet but it's not as smooth of a blend. Not sure if that makes sense but I think it has something to do with how saturated the color is in them with once again no dilution.I really like these. The colors are brighter than my other set and there are not a whole lot of colors that you could use on day, a realistic nature or portrait painting. These are all very bright, fun colors except for a couple. You could still presumably mix the colors to be something more earthy toned but yeah, I'd say these colors are ideal for someone looking for a fun, bright, fantasy kind of palette type.The zen tangle picture is with the colors diluted and the dragonfly is with little to no water added for dilution and is also on the water color paper they provided (8 sheets, nice!)Overall I really am impressed with these and they are real brush tips, not felt. They have bristles. Which is perfect, exactly what I was looking for!

I bought these as a surprise craft project to do with my neice and nephew while babysitting them one day. Nephew was more interested in watching Ghost Busters and "playing" (virtual) "Tag with Ryan" *there's not a big enough 🙄 react* but my neice and I had loads of fun playing with these watercolor brush pens and creating different looks. I wish I'd taken pictures to share because she refused to let me get rid of anything I created on the adorable little sheets of paper that came with these 😂, rendering the pad of watercolor paper I bought completely unnecessary. We did a 3 color challenge at her insistence. I created a cherry blossom branch, and a forrest. She created a "masterpiece with colors." I visited yesterday, an entire week and and day later, and saw these scattered around the play room. I tried to use them and most of them are completely dead. I think I'll be purchasing another set for them as well as set for my own personal use. These are a great product for young and old alike and not frustrating at all to use. I've really gotten into exploring my artistic side and these don't leave me feeling frustrated and clueless at all, and best of all, they work well without costing a fortune! They feel like an entry level price point without sacrificing quality at all.

Edit, I am changing my review from 4 to 5 stars.Nice pigment to the colors, do dry a little lighter than the color that goes on. A little hard to blend with the water pens (I still dislike the water pens because in a mixed media pad they cause the color to bleed into the page) so I ended up using a Tombow N00 colorless brush pen to blend. Originally I wasn't sure what to expect since I had never used water color brush pens. Now that I have used them a bit and have figured them out a bit more I really love them. I have 3 different brands of brush pens and this one is my favorite. The tip is most brush like and gives me the most control from super fine to wide strokes. The colors are vibrant and good for layering. Since doing tropical fish, I do wish there was a broader range of colors especially blues and lighter colors. Very very good value. The quality is better than the more expensive pens I have. I bought the 36 set and see a 48 set. I wish there was a 120 set. I'd buy it in a heart beat.

Just getting started with this set, but so far I like them.

The media could not be loaded.  I use this product to do floral scenes, underwater fish scenes, & the list goes on!

I got these for my mom for Christmas, she loves them. She says they are super easy to use, and make art accessible for her again.

The colours are bright and vibrant, and the water brushes seem to work well. The pens blend beautifully with one another and offer a convenient way to try water colour painting.

I ordered for my niece and she loved it. The colours are so good in quality with the price. This one really worth the money. The watercolours are amazing.
