MR16 LED Bulbs

Swapped out a bunch of halogens for these and haven’t looked back. Same cozy lighting, way less heat, and major energy savings. They’re dimmable, don’t flicker, and feel well-made. Great for landscape lighting or recessed spots.

So far these have outperformed other bulbs in my older Malibu outdoor lights that were originally designed for halogen low voltage bulbs. Better light output, fewer watts consumed and so far long life.

Excellent very cost effective than superior quality and value compared to big box stores. Quick and timely delivery saves time & money and importantly these days gas is premium.

I purchased 2 sets of 10 Torkase MR16 gu5.3 led bulbs to replace all the halogens in my cable-lite systems in my living room. Under $4 a bulb... this $75 investment will hopefully Last the promised 20 years (!) and save a ton of money vs the fragile and hot halogens they replaced. I will try to post an update in a year or so. I tried led bulbs from: hyperikon, linkind, torchstar, bioluz, ALIDE and Mlambert (non dimmable by mistake). For my space in which I was seeking warm white dimmable light with 30-40 degrees of light the winner was TORKCASE’s lights. They are not the brightest of the bunch but are a very consistent warm 2700k and dim well thru the range. They feel well constructed and also interestingly had the best packaging of all the bulbs - neatly nested plastic clamshells for 5 bulbs each (see pic). This small detail somehow gives me confidence that this manufacturer knows what they are doing. Runner up was: linkind lights which at 3000k were too bright compared to torkcase but otherwise performed well. Did not like the consistency and quality of the light from bioluz, ALIDE, and torchstar. The hyperikon lights I had from a while back and will keep as backup bulbs but they did not fit into the gu 5.3 sockets as well as all the other brands.

These lights are dimmable, but that's not printed on the box as it is in the listing. Instead there's a sticker on the box indicating they're dimmable in tiny print, but I don't know if that means I'm getting a newer product or an older one. Unfortunately the listing doesn't seem to have a product number. These lights are slightly larger than the ones I replaced. The ring used to fix them in the socket wouldn't quite fit. Fortunately the socket is pretty snug and they don't fall out without the ring.

I am absolutely thrilled with these replacement bulbs. I replaced six 50w halogen bulbs with these. They are much brighter than the halogen and generate no heat. I am able to dim them down to 5% using a Lutron Grafik eye with no flicker. It's the perfect amount of ambient light for watching TV. At 5% of 30w total (6x5w), I am only drawing 1.5w as compared to the 180w that I was drawing with the dimmed halogens. No flicker when dimming. They switch off at 3%. Can't say enough good things about these. Highest recommendation!

I searched high and low to find reasonably priced replacement bulbs for my professional grade landscape lighting. One of the previous bulbs burned out and I just needed one replacement. Everywhere i looked, they were crazy expensive...over $30 for one bulb. I found this pack of 6 bulbs and for the price, i thought "what the heck". Well, I installed the replacement bulb in and it worked perfect...and even after multiple rain storms and ridiculous humidity, the bulb has lasted nicely. I am so glad I purchased these and have 5 spare in case another goes out. The lighting brightness matches what came with the landscape lighting. Highly recommended.

Los focos no tienen la calidad que anuncian. Cuando cambié el primero y prendí el apagador, tronó y el switch de la luz se bajó. Lo mismo sucedió con el segundo. No son de calidad y son peligrosos.

Son un riesgo, pésimo producto, explotó y salió volando una parte, me quemó el fusible y dejó sin luz mi casa.
