Q: Reviewers said salt concentrates on the bottom. Could this be avoided by being upside down a couple days before opening?

I don't know why it should .Oil will come to the top but I can't see why salt should. I bought it twice and both times there were lumps of heavy salt concentration in the bottom one third .

Q: Is there any trace of other tree nuts aside from cashews?

There's a notice on the bottle about the product being processed in a plant that also processes peanuts and soy and there may be trace amounts of other tree nuts in the product. I think it's a minimal amount of peanut/tree nut contamination, but if you're allergic I wouldn't take a chance.

I do not think they are organic at least it doesn't say so on the jar.
