The lights arrived with everything i needed inside the box to get it set up for my daughter and everything worked the first time, and honestly that alone was kind of a triumph in itself because you never know anymore with all these online vendors operating half way around the world.The installation was a little confusing because you can plug the lights strips into the receiver two different ways but only one way works, so when we hooked everything up the first time it appeared to not be working. Once we switched it around it worked exactly like we were expecting.The lights get very bright, the colors are varied (rgb scheme plus the colors that rgb combine to make so all in all r-o-y-g-b-i-v) and the strip is super sticky.It's so sticky in fact that i believe it would damage paint/drywall when trying to remove so be mindful of that when choosing a place for it.The remote works great as well. but had a few features that weren't clear at first how to use but we eventually figured that out too... all said this really is a good product and i'm glad we bought it... i would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something like this!

The media could not be loaded. Edit:So I requested for a replacement yesterday and it came today. I put up the lights and it’s amazing!!! I love how they quickly got me a replacement. The lights are amazing!!!Ok so I got these and I was really excited to put them in my sisters room. I tested them before doing too much. They worked. But once I was done putting them up on ceiling one of the strip didn’t work. I put all the hard work of sticking it up top and then all my hard work went to waste. So half the room is lit up while the other is not. But on the other note. The one strip that did work. Is pretty good it’s really bright and the adhesive is ok it’s not that strong. While putting them on they seemed to unstick. I had to go over it again and press. I did everything according to the instructions. Apart form the one strip not working and my hard work going to waste. It’s great. I wish the one strip worked. I want a replacement so we’ll see. I am not going to undo all my hard work and return the whole thing. I will just return the strip that isn’t working. I just need that one strip that’s missing.

Product was not working correctly (one of the outputs on the IR receiver was defective) so we ordered another set so we could use both of the original strips that were already mounted on the wall. Swapping the receiver outputs to the opposite light strips had not solved the problem. When we got the new light set today, I swapped out the old two-output IR receiver for the new one and the set worked perfectly. I'll use the old IR receiver to mount a single light strip in another room, and we'll have an extra light strip for a spare. No refund needed - just wanted to report this defective part of the light kit.UPDATE: While working on installing our older light strips (as reviewed above) in another room, I read the directions more carefully and found that I probably did not line up the arrow on the light strips with the arrow on the input cord. While testing the new set that we bought, I used the older IR receiver and found that both IR output cords do work. Sorry for the mistake. Now I know that the directions are not fool-proof!

Update- The manufacturer did reach out to me after I posted my this review and they have since made the issue right. I am satisfied with the replacement lights.We purchased these several years ago and were very happy with them until some of the lights lost the ability to change colors. We ordered the same lights again this March and ripped down the old lights and reinstalled the new lights. They worked great for 4 months and suddenly they started to glitch and now they won’t turn on at all. Very disappointed that we will have to rip these all down so soon and either replace or patch the walls and repaint.

Easily put up, this is in my son's room and he did it himself (he was 18 when he did this). The various different color variations are amazing and beautiful! If you want it all blue, the entire room is blue. Green, Red, White, Light blue, etc. You also have the choice of pulsating lights (I wouldn't recommend it if you have a seizure disorder). I do recommend this product. Super bright, super vibrant, the remote works fantastic, you'll be happy with this.

I bought this product for my son's room because he wanted the light around the floor board of his room. The product was shipped and received in a time frame of my Amazon Prime.And after 2yrs of having them, they still light up just fine. Very satisfied.

Great gift, great value, worked perfectly

I gave this product a 3 syar rating because only half worked. Half the lights stay on the other half does not even come on. We tried connecting in many ways but half the tape lights nor working at all.If it all worked it would look amazing.

The remote is not in sync with the lights. We are having troubles finding support online to correct.

These lights work good and look great, however, they do not stick. We ordered them for our daughters room and they just continually fall down.

It doesnt stay on the roof or wall its too long i had to give mine away
