Five Ten Trailcross LT Mountain Bike Shoes

Excellent MTB shoe! I searched for a nice pair of MTB and most aren't appealing EXCEPT for these. they are breathable, comfortable and nice looking. it grips my pedals perfectly. They are easy to clean rinse them off with a water hose and they'll dry quick. they run a little big but i have wide feet so i stayed with my usual size to compensate width. i highly recommend these shoes!

Much better fit than the freeriders. Great heel hold, superb grip, and more traction than typical flat pedal shoes. Lightweight, flexible, and breathable. Probably not great in wet weather. Would love to see these offered in more colors for men’s sizes.9.5/10, would buy again.

I ride aprox 15 miles everyday and my platform pedals were chewing the bottoms of my skate-type shoes I was wearing. I checked out the Five Ten models that looked like skate shoes but they felt and looked like Frankenstein feet when I tried them on. I saw the Trailcross and tried them on... they looked and felt amazing and lighter than the Frankenstein edition.I've rode about 125 miles with them so far, I love them. They have relief cuts in the sole so they bend, the mesh material on top ventilates your feet, and the bottom pattern stays locked onto your pedals. In fact, they stuck so well to the pedals I couldn't slide at all when climbing or trying to correct my feet. I ended getting molded spiked pedals which work much better than the metal spikes. If I was hardcore mountain biking I would leave the metal but for the local coastal trails and some fire roads I would recommend molded pedals.

I wear a 10.5 normally but purchased size 10 based on reviews. Size 10 fit perfectly. Very comfortable on and off the bike. They grip pedals very well. I wasn’t a big fan of the skate style shoes and really like the looks and feel of these. Also these are very well ventilated which is nice.Minus 1 star for price. $140 is a bit steep...I think they would be a good value $120 and more comparable with other options, however, seeing as to how this is the only shoe like this right now, they can command a higher price, which I obviously paid.

The shoes feel like they are glued to the pedal and are super comfortable.

These shoes have a sole that becomes very painful after about an hour of riding my touring bike. I have flat pedals on my Surley Disc Trucker. They are narrow and hard, I couldn't wear them and as I didn't return them right away I couldn't get a refund. So, I put them in the local donation box. Unwearable IMO.

These shoes do look really good. The grip on my pedals are also pretty good. Now, in terms of fit, this is where it depends on how wide your foot is. If your foot is very narrow, then go down half a size. However, if your foot is normal width, order the same size you always wear. The warning here is that your toes may have a gap on the top which it isn't too bad at all. Now, if you have wide feet, these shoes are not for you.
