Super cute
It’s a sweet little toy, but I hate having to unscrew the battery compartment with a teeny tiny screwdriver. It operates when it hits the water, but after removing it from the water, it initially stopped, but when I put it on the shelf, it started up again. I had to take the batteries out with that teeny tiny screwdriver again and that was the only way I could get it to stop.

It worked for a couple days
I had bought it for my son in the bathtub. He absolutely loved it but within a couple days it was no longer spraying water out the top it just lit up. I tried different batteries and it still didn’t change anything.

Daughter loved it!
My daughter loves to see the water come out of the showerhead so when I saw this I thought she would really love it. I was right! After reading some reviews of it stopping working after one use I was a little hesitant about buying it but took a chance anyway. We put it in the bath the first time and it worked great! I took it out of the water and put it back in and it acted like it wasn't going to work again and I thought well it was worth a try but if you just swoosh it around in the water a little it will start to work again! Kinda like you have to help the water get to the pump and then it will work. So if you think it broke after the first use just try to mess with it a little before you give up. We've used it every bath time since she got it and it's still going strong.

You have to take out batteries every time you use it and dry off the compartment and the batteries
I think this toy is really really cool the fountain on the whale shoots up pretty high, so be careful if you have a smaller bathtub. It is really cute and will last a couple of baths however, you need to take out the batteries and dry off the compartment and the batteries each time or your whale will sit there and go off for hours until the batteries die.

Stopped working
Super cute and my son loved it. It stopped working after a couple baths and I thought it just needed new batteries. Went to take the batteries out and they were rusted. New batteries put in and it lit up, but no water spraying. Sad it stopped working.

You get what you pay for (in a good way)
It’s cute, cheap, and adds an element of fun to my nine month old’s bath. Every time we put it in the tub he gets fixated on it, which I love. It works perfectly and I am genuinely impressed with the suction power. I was expecting much worse. The only downside is that after about two weeks of use, it no longer shuts off automatically when it’s taken out of water like it used to. We have to take the batteries out for it to turn off, but for the price I’d expect something like that.
