Adjust the top screw to lift and move the handles to the right orientation after you tighten the main part. Dont overtighted the top screw or you will break the little plastic colored hot label like I did. It came with these little brass inserts which is what the bottom of the valve seats against. I took my old inserts out with a screwdriver and put these ones in. It all threaded in and fit perfectly even though I didn't have a krowne faucet.

I was very happy that they arrived and the seal parts were the same as the stems i had that failed after much use. I did not know that the stem lengths were not the same. My point is that the parts that failed on the old ones are the same as this model so just changed them out to get out of a tough spot of needing to stop the water flow and get the sink up and working properly.

This seems more like a replacement kit than a repair kit. I had assumed it would be the loose pieces and I would just replace the washers that had worn out, but this totally replaces the entire handle and stem, and the best part is it changed the faucet to be 1/4" turn with ceramic cartridge which is way better than before and more durable. Definitely recommend this part, it's basically like upgrading to the Krowne Royal Series Faucet, which comes standard with this 1/4 turn ceramic cartridge.

This kit is a great buy, inside also comes with few extra black washer for later use. This is what makes the handle stop leaking water.

Worked perfectly! Tired of replacing the rubber seals. After 12 years it is Easter to replace the valves. They worked great.
