I purchased this Thera putty to use when working with children during developmental therapy sessions. It’s a good consistency (it’s not too soft but is stiff enough to provide a good resistance) and the animals they dig for are cute and colorful. We talk about the colors of the animals and objects, count them, pull them from the putty and then bury them back in the putty. I’ll be ordering this again!!

When I received the Green As Grass set and tried it out the putty was so stiff it made my fingers hurt. I notified the seller because I wanted her to know that maybe there was a bad batch of putty or something. She replied quickly and immediately offered a replacement. A couple of days later the replacement along with two surprise bonus items arrived on my doorstep! I was blown away!The replacement putty is perfect - challenging to work with but not so hard that kids will struggle. The animals to place in the putty are adorable. I can’t wait to use this with my OT students - they will love it!If you’re on the fence, just go ahead and purchase. You won’t be sorry!

My kids love this putty! My son's occupational therapist was having us use regular putty/clay/slime stuff to hide beads in and remove them (only using one hand at a time) and the putty kept leaving marks on our table or sticking to the plastic cutting board (when we tried to save the table). Plus, beads are boring.This putty has been a favorite fidget toy and exercises his hands well. He hides the charms in the putty (that hide well but come out clean) and picks them out. He liked it so much we bought one for his sister and we showed them off to the therapist who now recommends them to her families!One issue is the charms are ceramic and will break when dropped, even from a short distance. One of ours broke on the table from maybe a 12 inch drop. But the tin is durable and holds both the putty and the charms!

This therapy putty is perfect for all ages even the younger kiddos. Especially those who are in OT and are working on fine motor skills and muscle strengthening.(caution the little animals can be a choking hazard!)My little guy has SPD and it's been Soo helpful for sensory play. He likes to play hide and seek with the animals in the putty. They definitely help to encourage him when he doesn't want to participate 😊

My 5 yr old has some sensory needs, so we got him this to work on at the table when he can’t have adult attention, aka mom needs to make dinner. It’s adequate for this, but as soon as he took the little pieces out two of them broke. He also put water in it, mom needed to finish making dinner! and it seems fine.
