Finally a pitcher that is big enough for my tea ball. Solid construction, balanced pour, and shatterproof.

Great for making a big quantity of iced tea. I love this. I like the strainer on one opening and the free-flowing opening on the other side.

I like these so much that I've purchased them two more times. I use them mainly for iced tea. I pour boiling hot tea water directly into the pitcher, sometimes over ice. The plastic handles hot and cold just fine. It is very sturdy, especially the handle. When the pitcher is full of ~9 lbs of liquid, it is easy to carry around with splashing and without the handle bending. After many uses, the inside can start to take on a slight tea stain. I just spray with a little Clorox, let it soak for a few minutes, and the tea stains run right off. Then I give it a good rinsing and washing and it goes back into service. The lid is also very easy to wash, with no fancy cavities or areas that cannot be reached with a sponge and soapy water. High recommend.

This was bought to replace one that was old and then got cracked. I bought this because I knew what it was going to be like but that wasn't actually the case. Rubbermaid has changed the design a bit and while it still works to hold my iced tea the pouring handle is quite a bit wider than previously which makes it harder to hold on to for some hand in the household. The pour spout has changed to a rounded front from a squared off front and makes it a little harder to fill up smaller bottles to take with me. The top was also redesigned and is very hard to get it on and off to put it in the pouring position and the closed position when done. That might just need some wearing in to make it easier. Overall it does what I need it to do and that is to hold my iced tea. If I didn't have the previous one I wouldn't notice these small issues with the new one. If it's your first time using this item then you'll be happy with it the way it is. seem nit picky but sometimes design matters. Also the design pictured is the older style like I was talking about so I thought I was getting the same one as the previous one.

EL material de la jarra es muy bueno, pero la tapa cierra tan bien que es difícil quitarla. Sin duda es un mal diseño. Estamos pensando devolverla. ¡Lástima, porque es un buen producto!
