No magnification, not safe
While my son loves these they do have a few issues. They do not have any magnification, which is disappointing since the description states that they do. They do not have objective lenses in the eye pieces. The focus wheel does absolutely nothing. The other issue I have is more concerning however. The release clasp on the strap is to tight, it doesn't release with toddler strength. My 3 year old was able to twist the string tightly around his neck and despite pulling to get it off it stayed on until I rushed up and released the clasp. Pictured is the abrasion left from the incident.

Glorified magnifying glass on a string. Not worth it.
I thought it would be a great pair of binoculars for my little guy. But everyone who hated them was right. There is no magnification, the strap is flimsy and thin. It's also almost too short for my 3 yo. Worst of all, mine can with some dirt or dust between the lenses that I can't remove. And I can't even return them. At about $10.00, it's not a heavy loss, but absolutely not worth purchasing. But the $10 towards something that works.

Don't magnify and strap release is difficult to open. Don't bother with these!
Two main things wrong with these. First of all, they do NOT magnify 6 times as claimed. They do not magnify at all! The focus wheel also does nothing. As they are a kid's toy, I did not expect much, but I did expect them to magnify a bit, to give the kiddo a sense of what binoculars are for. These don't at all. Secondly, the child safe release for the little neck strap is very difficult to pop open, it takes adult strength. This is a hazard.I can see paying less than $5 for these, but that is it. For the price of almost $11, I should have just got my daughter a pair of el cheapo roof prism real binoculars!

Does not work as advertised
It says x6 magnification, but object appear pretty much the same size as they do without them. I didn't expect much, but it was disappointing. My kids 2 and 4 don't understand the concept, so they don't care and enjoy them otherwise I would have returned them. The neck cord has a kid friendly break away opening to prevent choking. Unfortunately it is also all too tempting to chew on and within a few days it not longer closed and the little piece they are chewing on is a potential choke hazard. Now they just swing their binoculars around by the cord. I don't recommend this product. I would rather have purchased something a little more expensive that actually worked.

Not impressive at all!
Not really sure why they bothered to call these binoculars?!?! Magnification is close zero, not sure what the fucusing ring is actually doing, besides nothing. Unfortunately, a real disappointing 4yr olds Christmas gift.

Has no magnification power
There is no magnification at all in these lenses, so I guess your child is basically imagining what binoculars should function like. Our child ignores these and uses mommy's and daddy's binoculars because she can tell the difference. Which makes these a waste of money.

fun toy
My son likes this - They're not really 'true' binoculars that you adjust for good viewing. It's really just a toy to play with in the house/outside. Not really great for close up/far away use, but fun for a toy.

Definitely a toy
Son broke his binoculars so I got him these as a replacement. Arrived timely and in condition described. The actual strength of the lenses was a disappointment however. Not near as far focused as the original one was had. Son doesn't notice or mind, but hardly zooms in range like I had otherwise hoped.

Not sure if you can call them binoculars...
Hi there, I do not think these magnify anything at all so not sure if they can be called binoculars. 2 stars because my son does enjoy it but he's 3 and I cannot imagine the highest recommended age range, 10, could be that impressed.

Children's binoculars
Very disappointed. I bought this as my grandson showed an interest in bird watching and I wanted some binoculars suitable for his age (4 years). These had no magnification at all and are basically just a toy 🙁

NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE - DOESN’T WORK BROKEN?
Save your money this product does not work. The magnifying mechanism is cosmetic. It maybe I received a dud - but that just tells me there’s no quality control!Unfit for purpose.
