Women's Aari Black Leather 12" Calf Size

If you are on the fence trying to decide whether or not to order these based on the price, go for it! I am a serious budget shopper and rarely splurge on something so expensive but these are absolutely beautifully made.The fit is good. I was worried about that because I have small but wider feet. Because of that I can wear between a 6.5 to 7.5 depending on the type or style of the shoe. I know leather shoes stretch some so I was going to get a 6.5 but I wasn't sure they'd stretch enough and they looked like they had a snug toebox. Well I got the 7 and it fits good. Tiny bit of extra room but because of my wide foot, any smaller and the toe box would be to snug. Hopefully they don't stretch very much or they may be a tiny bit to big. Right now the fit is almost perfect. The leather is very soft high quality and lined in parts of the interior to keep you from sweating. I wore these against my bare legs and they were very comfortable. The quality is on a level where as long as you care for the boot, it will last years. The style is very classy and wont go out of fashion anytime soon. I also like the tread on these is nice and anti-slip. I'm sure when I have to run to the car in the rain/ice I'll be happy about that.Definitely not having buyers remorse. I actually watched these for almost a month before I decided I was going to spoil myself and I'm so pleased. Perfect for slim calves and they look EVEN better in person. When I tried them on my hubby said "You look sexy... and just where do you think you're going in those?" They were packaged carefully and came two days after I ordered them. I can pair these with so many things in my wardrobe but I really have a little black dress in mind that I only paid 29 bucks for that is going to look like a paid a lot more for it paired up with these stunning boots.The only gripe I have is in the price, even though ultimately worthwhile, I have to wonder if they are kind of taking advantage of the market of people who want slim calf footwear. I mean if you really think about it they are using less material so the price should be a little less. Maybe I'm wrong and wide calf or regular calf from this brand are the same price? Either way I can't take a star away for it.After wearing these only a few times I have had to update my review and I give these boots three instead of five stars. The problem I have is that on these boot, the zipper has some kind of defect. It only zips about 3/4 of the way down and then gets stuck when I am trying to take them off. Zipping them up is sometimes an issue too. I am now very disappointed about that. I spent a good fifteen minutes trying to take the boot off. Because they are narrow throughout the leg it is impossible to wiggle out of them while they are still zipped up and I was tugging so hard on the zipper I thought for sure it was going to break right off! Well it didn't so I will say the zipper is high quality but for some reason the zipper is not right. I have only worn these with those nylon footies and a very thin pair of knee high stockings so I know it wasn't that the zipper got caught on those. When I was wasting fifteen minutes of my life in a death lock with the zipper, I did notice while trying to see the cause of why they were stuck, that there was a small tear in the inner flap that is opposite the side of the zipper and yet it was not caught up in the zipper. The flap is so narrow it doesn't extend out far enough for the zipper to snag it. Well the flaps are also becoming brittle already. I am guessing they are not leather which is fine but I don't think there should be rips and cracks on them already. I mean other then walking fast on hard ground, I take very good care of all my foot wear. Especially leather and it is surely not because of the boot fitting to snug since it only gets stuck at the bottom third of my leg and the upper part of the leg is the thickest part! I never could figure out why the zippers got stuck but after I got it off I sure did try to zip it up and then down again without it on my foot and guess what!? It STILL did it!! Well because of that issue I have stopped wearing them. Since I wore them out of the house a few times I don't think I can work with the seller to some satisfaction on my part but I am going to try anyway. I think I may have gotten ones that were ill- manufactured since I read the reviews before ordering these and I see no mention of such a problem from anyone else. It sucks pretty bad because I really though these boots were the bomb. I still think they are gorgeous and I would wear them if I could but I am sorry I do NOT have time to be dealing with something as simple as taking my boots off becoming a physical exercise.I waited on buying these because I wanted to be certain that is really what I wanted to be doing with my hard earned money and up until the zipper issue these very classy sexy looking boots did not disappoint but now I am just thinking I wasted good money on something I won't get to wear. My only hope at this point is that the seller or Amazon will help me figure out a way to come to some kind of middle ground. I mean I wore these four times! That's it! Has anyone that may be reading this had the same problem?Also a missing touch that would have been nice considering the price and since this is a heeled boot, would have been if they had added a cushioned foot bed. Don't get me wrong they are not terribly uncomfortable, but if you walk quite a bit like I do, (I work in the downtown area so lunch hour and parking issues require me to walk several city blocks daily) pounding the hard pavement at a brisk clip you will have some discomfort at days end. I own a cheap non leather pair that are in no way as sleek and stylish as these. They were on sale under 30 bucks and they have an amazing foot bed. I just figured for how expensive they are someone would have thought about that especially since I assume it would not be your average 18 to 20 year old high school/college girl buying these. I am thirty something and while I am not ready for hushpuppies yet, I sure do appreciate well cushioned shoes.

My nick name is chicken legs, and these are too small at the calf even for me. I measure my calves at 12 inches - which is what the size 6 size chart says the 6 will be. I bought a 5.5, which isn't listed on the size chart. Maybe that's the problem, because I can't zip these up. It totally blows my mind. The 5.5 is prefect it the foot, however, so when I say these are "somewhat small", I mean in the calf, not the length or width of the actual shoe.

Super cute and good for skinny calves. The heels are a bit higher than I anticipated, but that could be because I normally don't ware more than a three inch heel (I am already 6 feet tall)..

I just got these bots. They are PERFECT! I have searched for years to find boots hat fit my skinny calves. Finally! These boots not only fit my calf without that annoying gap, but the footbed is absolutely comfortable. Just PERFECT!

These boots are fabulous! I have had so much trouble finding boots that fit me because of my slim calves. These boots are very well made and perfect for slim calves.

A smig big in the calf even though they are for slim calfs but closer then any other boot I've ever tried. They are beautiful and I love them!

fit was good except the toe box was too small for my wider feet.
