NCYPerformance Shocks (Rear, Black); Zuma 125

First off, know that these shocks are black. No gold. If you look on the NCY site, you’ll see what they actually look like.As for performance. These were a huge upgrade over the stock shocks on my 2013 Zuma 125. The springs are stiffer but are progressive so they still have a soft initial feeling yet get stiffer beyond that. The dampening of these is very well controlled. No bouncing, even with two average sized adults riding it. The spring preload is adjustable with a fairly wide adjustment range. Out of the box, the preload was turned down about 3 threads from the softest. I turned it up to 6 lines. There’s probably another 20 or 30 lines of additional preload. It appears there may be a rebound or compression adjuster but I haven’t played with it to find out. Out of the box it feels really good.10/10 would recommend. Clearly not cheap Chinese junk. There are quality from Taiwan where the best scooter suspension comes from.
