Chapin 25020 2-Gallon Clean 'N Seal Poly Deck Sprayer for Deck Cleaners and Transparent Stains and Sealers

Had purchased two other sprayers. We’re good for their use but had hard time spraying water seal on fence. Eventually it was too thick. This one did a great job

My husband used it to spray stain on our new fence (about 10 refills). Trying to carry it by the handle turned out to be a major hassle because it unlatches constantly, and if you just pumped it, it’s hard to push the pump back to latch. He used an old small backpack which worked great.The filling worked okay. It depends on the source of the liquid.Since this was done outside in the yard, and needed so many refills (large job), bits of vegetation would fall into the stain, even though we kept it open the minimum amount of time possible. These clogged the trigger, which had to be taken apart completely (medium effort). My husband then improvised a filter with bunched up window screen and duct tape.When using it, there’s a trade off between the amount of liquid and how long the pressure lasts. If you fill it to the max, the pressure will last less time the first time. I found the ideal to be about 60% full. You fill it more times, but the spraying lasts longer between pumps.

We used this to Chapin Clean-N-Seal to apply sealer to my deck and fence. It was easy to use and worked awesome. It has 3 different nozzles for spraying. Based on your application - It sprayed a large area. My project was not too large but I was able to apply 3 gallons under an hour.

This product was listed on the can of sealant we bought as the recommended sprayer to use-but it was so cheap and poorly made, that it wouldn’t work AT ALL. We literally had to throw it out because it was covered in sealant and Amazon graciously refunded us the money without having to return it. Not worth the money

This is a great sprayer! I have used it for spraying deck cleaner and spraying concrete sealer on my sidewalks. This spray works well and puts down a nice coat of cleaner or sealer. Just keep in mind to clean sprayer good between uses and types of use. If you don't clean well you may have a problem with it not spraying evenly.

Works great, no issues. Pretty easy to clean.

Inexpensive and easy to use, but watch your hose connection to the canister as it loosens over time and will blow off on you. Used this product for staining my deck and had the hose blow off multiple times. First time surprised me and sprayed stain all over my sliding door and siding of the back of my house.Would not recommend for this issue alone, but if you take the time to find a way to secure this hose everything else works well as it should.

To make sprayer spray with enough force to send a mist, the pump hose would blow off the tank. Otherwise it sprayed blobs that weren’t even. I had to drag out an older electric paint sprayer to stain my deck. Not recommended for stain.

I recently bought 2 sprayers from Amazon; this one and another one from a different company. I bought this one for spraying sealer on my deck because it has a splash guard for protecting surfaces (i.e. brick on the house). I tried it with some water recently to play around with it prior to use only to find that all the tips are fan spray with no adjustments and the shield does nothing to block the spray. You also cannot adjust the stream of the sprayer to make it more concentrated or mistier, which would have been nice since the spray shield is useless. Anyways I would stay away from this one and just purchase a cheaper one or one from a different company. I will probably use this one to touch the concrete sealer on my driveway and use the cheaper one I bought from another company for my deck.

Piece of junk...does not fan at all. I wouldn’t even use it to spray round up
