love this thing. I may never use the garlic press again. Very fast, much easier to clean than a press. One thing to note, it makes small garlic strips, not small dice.

It is useless, I would have given it zero stars if possible.I threw it away after one use.80% of the garlic was wasted. I have been very happy withmany other microplane products, so it was a significantdisappointment.

I have bought several different garlic graters. This is the best. I will buy several for stocking stuffers. Don't hesitate.

Performs exactly as described and works as well as all other microplane devices. I grate most of the garlic I cook with a standard microplane, this is obviously frought with peril as I end up cutting myself or wasting a lot of garlic.This item will hold basically three large cloves and makes ridiculously quick work of grating. With safety and speed comes a little more time on the back-end cleaning as you now have four components to clean. It's also bigger than you might think, which takes up more drawer space.Next time I'll simply grate the entire head of garlic and see how this device will work if I just store it in the fridge. the bottom container seems to have enough space to store an entire head of grated garlic.

Love this grater, normally I use a regular Microplane, but the garlic grater save wear on my finger tips and gives the perfect grate to garlic for my dishes.

I bought this direct from Microplane before Amazon had it in stock. In my opinion it is not worth the effort it took me to grate the garlic. It is hard to get all the garlic out, and the little "cleaner outer" blade is difficult to get out of the unit. I will be going back to my Swiss garlic press, even though I would prefer grated garlic and not "squeezed". This is the first microplane product (and I have a lot of them ) that I have not liked. It looked terrific in the newspaper!

I usually find it gets garlic stuck in it, I assume if you need a lot of cloves minced it would do a great job but a garlic press would do the same with less cleanup.

This is of no real use. It’s fiddly, cuts too course, and is difficult to clean. I regret buying this.

It cuts the garlic nicely, but some squished out over the ends of the device, I found it difficult to take apart for cleaning.

I have not tried the unit out...looks promising !
