Newport History Tour

An interesting little book. I find the size a little small for what it is trying to do. Saying that it gives some facinating insights to parts of Newport that I didn't now. That brings me back to the size, if it had been a larger formate there would have been more room for the information which would have made this book first class and a better read. Recommended.

I read this in less than a day. Although the chapters were short. It made for easy reading and was very informative. The photographs, both old and new, gave the book an added interest. There were snippets of Newport history , previously unknown to me. I think a jump off & on open top bus for locals and tourists alike is needed here to complete the knowledge gained.

Information was sketchy. I know Newport and thought it would have been more interesting if the writer had expanded the facts.
