Great looking and sturdy.
Used for bathroom safety, but they don't look utilitarian at all. They just look great and add lots of stability and safety. I had a professional install them, so I can't speak to that aspect, but he didn't seem to have a problem.

Sturdy & stylish
The media could not be loaded. They came in multiple sizes, I tried the 18" grab bars but we needed the 24 inch grab bars because our shower is deeper at 56" than most which are 32" deep. They matched the rain shower fixtures from Dawn. And the squeegee also matches and it was an Amazon find, too. Tile was from Floor & Decor; Mirror from Kholer, vanity & countertop a steal from the Builders Surplus corridor. The glass half wall instead of sliding doors will allow easy wheelchair access for a smaller wheelchair in spite of the narrow walkway. It's a condo so gotta work with what you've got. It came out just perfect for us. Hope you like it, too.

Great, but…
These were pretty easy to install and feel well made. I have one above my bathtub to help with getting in and out and another in my shower. One of them had a stripped screw hole so it needed to be replaced but it was easy to send it back

It's strong and looks nice.
I had it installed to help me hold myself when coming out of the shower. The handyperson who put it up for me did a great job. She used SecureMounts as recommended, and the result was a very sturdy installation. It is firmly held in place and the chrome matches exactly the other items (shower, faucet, etc) I have in the bathroom. I guess the key is to find the right place where to put it. At first I told her to just hold it while I tested coming in an out, so we found the right spot. Very happy with it.

So easy, so darn strong
To begin, I am converting an existing bathroom w/tub to a shower. So the drywall came off in order to add 2x6 reinforcement where all the grab bars were going. So that’s the most important step, because without that solid backing, these are just useless, pretty bars.I used 2 of the 18-inch bars as towel racks, but still had reinforcing, because you never know. These bars are one piece that attach to the mounting plates. Please document where exactly the reinforcements are, both from the ceiling and the floor. The contractor made a small error, and had to dig out a tile and replace it.The mounting is straight forward, and Moen put everything in the box. These bars have some heft to them, they were not a disappointment. I wanted the ability to be independent, without looking like an institution. The Align series is modern, and a great value for the price. I even used the 36-inch on the back wall of the shower, and the Moen grab bar/toilet paper roll holder. I’ll submit final photographs when everything is in place, as well as an update about how it’s standing up to daily use.

Nice. Doesn't looks like a handicapped grab bar
The bar is awesome. Doesn't look so much like a handicapped bar. It looks more like a towel rack, which is really nice. Installation was a pain, though. I bought the special drywall Securemount Anchors to install, only to get to my mom's house and find that it needed to be mounted on an exterior concrete block wall. Because there is an air gap between the tiled greenboard and the concreted caused by the firring strips, I wasn't sure if using tapcons would cause the tile to break, but I snugged everything up and it worked fine. I guess the tile spread the load out enough. The bar is in my opinion WAY overpriced, but at least it looks nice.Because I didn't use the securemounts, I didn't have a problem with the covers fitting over the screws like others did. The non-countersunk tapcons will fit under the cover, no problem. Hope this helps.

Colour is a huge disappointment
The "chrome" colour is not the same as the other Align series i.e. towel bars, spouts, etc. This has more of a brassy colour to it, maybe more like a stainless steel, definitely not a nice bright silver like the rest of the Align series. No idea why. A big disappointment when it's right beside the others in my shower. The functionality of it seems fine but unfortunately just doesn't look very nice. I see another comment from 2021 similar to mine so doesn't seem like they've changed anything.

Finish isn't Chrome
Although it says "Chrome", the finish isn't chrome. More like polished nickel. Doesn't match everything else in the shower. Won't return because already installed and would cost to have it removed and replaced. It's close enough, that maybe some will not notice.
