As the title "Your ... Belly", Lucy talks directly to her reader to engage him or her directly. She writes with an authority which comes from her own formal training in Ayurveda and also, from her own experience of being healed through an Ayurvedic diet. There's a chapter showing how modern science based understanding relates to what Ayurveda discovered several millennia ago (we humans probably haven't evolved biologically that much since then!). Then Lucy takes us by the hand, giving us, step by step, all we need to know to get ourselves established on an authentic Ayurvedic diet. Overall, this very approachable book inspires us with confidence that it will be worth it and that we can do it, just as its author did.

An accessible book with many helpful tips on living a simpler and healthier life.
In this book Lucy explains key Ayurveda principles (which can be very complex to grasp in my experience) in a simple and accessible way. She gives helpful tips on how minor adjustments can be made to improve our general well-being and health whilst contributing to more mindful living and a healthier planet. I would recommend the book to anyone who wants to gain a more holistic approach to wellbeing.

Accessible and informative
Lucy proves she is a knowledgable author and Peaceful Belly is a valuable resource, covering everything you could possibly need to know and more - from the background of your digestive system all the way through cleanses and strengthening, creating a healing kitchen and on to your own healthcare plan. Peaceful Belly is easy to read and contains a wealth of knowledge. A very useful book!
