Soft, easily galled.
I purchased these for my project, during set up on the rear end they were installed and removed several times, during this, the threads on one started to gall and strip. Never had this problem with any Ubolts I've used over the past 30 years. Would not buy again.

very strong and easy to install
ok this is a great product I used it on a 98 jeep cherokee and they had the exact size i needed 3in by 7 legs i had to make the holes a little larger but hey these are really worth the effort and they came on time via fed-ex thx much for this product.
