I was looking for a good smart lock and you can't go wrong with Schlage, my daughters kept forgetting their keys at home and they had to go to the neighbor's for a while until I had to come back and unlock the door, I kept putting it off for a few months but what finally made me buy it was that they forgot their key 3 times in a week! So I ordered it and it arrived next day.Installation was a breeze I didn't need the manual there is a the Schalge youtube channel with all the models and step by step instructions, I was done withing 30 minutes, works the way it is supposed to do with no issues so far, I really love the auto lock feature every time you open the door after 30 seconds it automatically locks itself. I will be replacing all of my locks around the house in the next few months.

We had a locksmith come out and key all 3 locks to one key. You know you have a great lock when the locksmith has the same lock at his house.

Like other reviewers have stated, I've had this lock for two months now and it randomly stops working, the keypad goes dead until you use the key and reset from the inside. Terrible.

Our in warranty Schlage BE468 failed and purchased this as a replacement. Fit perfectly and works exactly the same. However, unless you already own a home security system that is zwave compatible, it’s not going to connect. So the name and marketing is a off. The specs say that is Alexa compatible but it in reality needs a hub. Trying now to figure out how to purchase a z wave hub without spending 100-250 dollars. Since it was the only replacement with the same footprint we were stuck.

Can program lock to usey codes. Cannot connect the lock to my alarm system, like the other schledge lock. Also cannot connect to home smart system nor to the schledge app.So the primary functionality does not work.
