Worthy purchase
It's been a long time since I've been using Philips products, and the quality of their lighting systems remains top-notch. I would suggest going for it over its contenders. Any brand's bulb you may buy might light bright for some duration only - Philips are known to be long-term serving, with the same intensity throughout its lifespan.

Good one
In normal operating conditions, it performs flawlessly, emitting bright and consistent light. However, when the power goes out, it seamlessly transitions into inverter mode, with slightly REDUCED BRIGHTNESS. If you're looking for a reliable and practical lighting solution that can adapt to power outages, I highly recommend this.

Not a great buy
Pro: Easy to plugin. Cons: 1. Does not work like ups. It starts the emergency light only after fraction of seconds of power cut which is easily noticeable. 2. Light intensity is definitely not good compared to same wattage normal led bulb. Probably just half intensity of the same wattage normal led bulb. 3. Cost is on higher side compared to the features and usability.

Works as Intended, but heat producing.
The inverter led bulbs doesn't come pre charged, so don't panic, if you tested for functioning without power supply after you unbox. It takes around 8-13 hrs for initial charge (that's what is recommended) to test the inverter function of these led bulbs. Lighting intensity will be roughly half, when running on battery. The bulb produces a lots of heat while on power supply/ charging simultaneously. I am not sure if this is the case with Philips inverter bulbs or inverter bulbs in general. I cannot comment on total backup time, but so far it works fine, as said don't expect too much while running on battery, it will be half of light intensity while working on battery. Still it serves the purpose. If you don't have huge power outages on regular basis and thus you didn't have inverter setup at home, still if you need a backup lighting during short term power outages, then these inverter bulbs will serve the purpose. I brought them as they serve the purpose, without investing on inverter. Also it is not mentioned about energy rating on these led bulbs, may be because it is attached to li ion battery, due to which it might not get BEE ratings. BEE should also add this type of led bulbs to their device list and give appropriate rating, so that as a consumer, we shall get benefits while shopping. Overall, these backup leds working fine as of now. I will buy another brands inverter leds next time to see if they offer better light intensity and less heat producing while on power supply. By the way, I have all the led bulbs at our home and most of them are either 5 or 3 star rating, thus saves me huge electricity bills. So my preference always goes to start rated devices while purchasing, as they significantly reduce power bills. I hope this review will help prospective buyers make a decision. Do write up your experiences here, if you brought other brands inverter leds , it will help others to learn about your experience.
