Traditional Ironwork Designs (Dover Pictorial Archive)

This is a pattern book of wrought ironwork designs, some of which look very intricate, but can be simplified for anyone who is interested in making similar works by traditional methods or with scrolling and bending machines. As a source book for gates, ballustrades and grilles, etc. it is excellent. My single criticism is that it is all highly ornate and feel that some simpler examples or those that are more understated would be good too.

Excellent illustrations, very helpful when doing design work.
