This is a very nice piece of equipment. I bought it because, neither of my iPod or my vehicle have Bluetooth capability and the car radio does not have an AUX in port. I just plug my classic iPod into the in/out port on the side of this adaptor and tune my car radio into the same FM radio station as the one I set on the adaptor and I have perfect sound. No external electrical interference noises or static. I get just plain excellent sound from the recordings on my iPod, through my car radio. The jacks on both the adaptor and my iPod are 3.5mm. I tried another brand that was supposed to work, but it only had an output jack on the adaptor, so when I plugged the cable into the port, I got nothing. I'm very pleased with this adaptor. I thought I was going to have to buy a new radio for a couple hundred dollars, but this amazing little adaptor saved me from having to do that. It will work if you do have Bluetooth capability. I can't think of any kind of set up this adaptor would not work with. It's well built and feels nice and solid. I would add a video of it working, but I figured I wouldn't be allowed to post it due to copywrite laws. I would love to have everyone listen to how great the sound is through the adaptor and my old time car radio. I am using this in a 2007 Chevy Uplander. I highly recommend this adaptor and this seller. A+++++++ for both!! I had a problem with the fist one I received, but the seller was quick to send out a replacement and now I can listen to my audio books while I drive. Don't be afraid to get one of these if you need to attach an external gadget to your old style car radio. If I need another one, I will be getting the same thing from the same seller. I'm a very happy camper!!

Installation was a no brainer, extremely easy...basically just plug it it. Blue tooth connects easily. This also has a USB port to charge as well. It's compact size is perfect. Sound quality while using the phone is very good. I have a older vehicle and it works perfectly.

My handsfree bluetooth stopped working in my Honda, so rather than waste the time anf money at a dealership garage, I bought this affordable option. I took it on a 5 hour roadtrip and it worked great on a single station with no static for the whole trip. My only issue is the volume is significantly low, especially on phone calls where I have to crank my stereo to maximum volume and those on the other end say my voice sounds distant. Overall it's a good option for Bluetooth. And I think it looks really cool but I love gadgets and lights. A nice size too.

This is amazing, I honestly didn’t even know there was such a thing I was given a car for my dad, but it’s an old car from 2007 so it didn’t have anything but a CD player/radio, I’ve had that before and other cars, but they had the aux cord option so I never really ran into needing to look for something different. Originally, I was going to look for a new radio, but having to put money into the car to get it fixed to be able to pass inspection, I didn’t really have the money to throw into a radio as well, plus nowadays it’s kind of hard to find somewhere that sells car, radios, and installs them at least where I live. so I started googling to see if I could find anything that I could use to be able to connect my phone to my radio because I absolutely hate my local radio stations. I originally was looking for something like a CD that had Bluetooth on it, but I couldn’t find anything but came across this item and decided to give it a shot. it is super nice. It’s easy to connect. It took me literally just a few seconds to connect to my phone and the radio. You just tune the regular radio to the same station that you have it on with the device, and Bluetooth connects in a matter of seconds. I love that it automatically turns on as long as it’s plugged in and connect to your phone so that way, I don’t have to sit there and connect it and turn it on every time I get into the car, I also love that it has the option to skip a song on the device itself so that way I don’t have to pull out my phone. My steering wheel has a volume option button, but it doesn’t have a skip option so I can’t control it from my steering wheel when I want to change the song, I also like that there’s a pause option if you tap the middle button that you connect with a Bluetooth to pause your music rather than having to pull out your phone. Overall, I have no complaints about this device. I’ve never really had any issues with static as of yet or any other type of weird feedback. There is one time I heard a weird little noise, but it was so quick. I don’t even know if it was from that or my car or something outside and I’ve only heard it once so I can’t even say for sure but as of now there’s no complaints whatsoever and definitely was worth the money and I would definitely buy again if I ever run into having another car that doesn’t have Bluetooth or an aux capability

I was skeptical. However, the instructions were user friendly and simple. I set it up in less than 5 minutes. I’ve been using the device for a week and it’s been operating perfectly. I’m purchasing two more for a family member. I definitely recommend!

It works with my old stereo. There is some hissing noise when using it but once you start driving, you don’t notice it. For the price, very satisfied.

If you recall back in the 90s there were lots of aftermarket CD player and CD changers designed by Sony, Pioneer, Kenwood and many more that used RF Modulators to transmit through and unused radio station on the FM band. This works the same way, however the RF signal being generated on this unit needs to be stronger. When driving around in the city or any higher populated area where the radio stations would transmit from, you can hear the station (or white noise related to the radio station) on the speakers as you're trying to listen to the content of whatever is connected to this Bluetooth RF device. This makes it not nearly as good as it could be. In some areas were there is less RF energy you only hear the content your play over this device but I would say about 75 percent of the time you can hear noise even if there is nothing playing on this device. One of the most frustrating things about this is that it's avoidable. I'm guessing that the RF power being transmitted from this device to the car radio is likely the max limit the FCC would allow BUT that's not the real problem. The real problem is that the device doesn't go quite lower enough in the FM radio band to get out of the normal range of frequencies that a typical radio station would be on in the first place. The unit only has a range on the FM "dial" between 88.1 Mhz to 107.9Mhz. But most of the older RF modulated devices from the 90s could go down a bit lower to 87.7Mhz where there are no FM radio stations. This makes a huge difference. Since there are usually no stations (or at least no high powered stations) down this low (87.7 to 89.9Mhz) there is little to no noise on the older RF modulated CD changers, etc. but on this you have no choice to be deal with the noise mixing with your played content. Lets than ideal and I'm sure the folks who made it isn't from the US so they may not know that the USA's FM radio band goes lower than what this unit is designed for. My radio in my car goes down to 87.7Mhz. This low on the radio band there is nothing there. If this unit could be programmed down this low the noise wouldn't be a factor.

This is simply TOO COOL and functional for words. First it is extremely intuitive (didn't even have to read the manual...just looked at the quick start guide which showed what each button does). And, as important, it is much safer to use, while driving, versus fumbling around on your smartphone or iPod/iPad, when playing music on your car stereo (more on that, below). I have several older model vehicles which do not have Bluetooth and this solves a huge problem, elegantly and simply. When I am driving on the highway, I use my iPad Air 2 for music, with all of my iTunes playlists loaded onto it. Getting that music into my car's sound system was not possible, before I found this wonderful device. First I plug the Nulaxy into the car's accessory plug-in, which turns it on automatically. Then, I turn on the iPad (or any smartphone with Bluetooth) and ask for it to "find" and "pair" with other devices, at which time it finds the Nulaxy automatically (when the Nulaxy is plugged in and "on"). Then open iTunes or other music player on your device and start up a song. Then go to the Nulaxy and use the upper two buttons above the "dial knob", to go up or down the FM station selections to find a clear signal where you can hear the music playing from your device. And you are done with that "launch" step. Here is where this device is so much safer to use than fumbling with your music player device. A) If you want to mute, for an incoming call, you simply push the illuminated blue button in the center of the dial, which automatically pauses the song that is playing on your device, to allow silence for taking a phone call or other reasons needing silence. You can also put the phone call into your car stereo system with a couple of button pushes. And you can recall the last number dialed with a couple of button pushes on the center dial. And when you are done, just push the center button again and it goes back to playing music where you left off. B) Push the forward and reverse buttons without taking your eyes off the road, to advance to the next song, or go back. C) Turn up the volume by spinning the round dial (just like you would on your car's stereo dash controls). Or, alternately, use the volume up or down buttons, which flank the round dial that does the same thing. I use the round dial instead of the car's volume control because I first turn up my music player device to close to 100% for the best sound transmission and then use the Nulaxy volume control to go up or down. I found this to be the best mix for optimum sound. Although, if desired, you can still use your car's audio system dials for volume. Multiple options for the safest mode for your needs. D) And a great feature which covers all the bases...let's say you have a music player that does not have Bluetooth (maybe an old ipod, or a cassette player or whatever) and you want to get the music from your device onto your car audio system using the Nulaxy. The Nulaxy has a 3.5mm stereo mini plug port on the side of the unit that allows you to run a simple stereo cord from the headphone jack on your player, into the Nulaxy, which then transmits the signal to an FM station on your car stereo. Good engineering to be the most user friendly and feature rich. E) There is also a TF Card port on the side of the unit, which allows you to use a TF Card or Micro SD card in the Nulaxy. I have not used this feature so I can't comment on its usefulness. F) And the last feature worth mentioning is that there is a USB charging port on the back side of the part that plugs into the accessory outlet of your car (cigarette lighter style port). So you can plug your device into this to keep it charged while driving and using the Nulaxy. Great for extended periods in which you want to conserve battery on your smartphone or player. CAUTION though, which most people may already know. You probably do not want to use your cigarette lighter port (if you have a dual port..one for accessories and one for a cigarette lighter), because if you plug anything into a cigarette lighter port, for an extended time, it will cause that port to overheat and possibly cause damage to the wiring and/or your device plug. I made that mistake at one time and plugged something into the cigarette lighter to charge, while I was using the alternate accessory port for the Nulaxy. After about 20 minutes, I reached up to control something on the radio panel and noticed that entire area of my dashboard felt very hot to the touch and would have probably short circuited or started a fire, had I not discovered the over heating by accident. So be careful with this potential hazard. All in all this is a fantastic little unit, which works extremely well and is very user friendly with all of the features one could possible think of, for mobile music linked to your car stereo. I plan on buying a second one to keep in my powerboat and for use in other vehicles.

Excellent device. I have an old car, and I’ve gone through many transmitters, and this one is by fae the best. The signal to noise ratio is minimal on an open frequency that doesn’t have a major station playing through it. The clarity and volume that comes through is pretty clean, the bass response is very good. The onboard volume knob is a nice touch as well. The signal is pretty hifi for a transmitter and I can drive with my windows open and can still hear my music with no problem. I used to have a Scoche and over time the volume depreciated, this device seems reliable and super easy to set up. So far so good and no problem. Looks great in my car and more importantly I can hear my music without overbearing noise pollution from static. Music comes through very clean and I am enjoying this device very much. Easiest 5 stars I’ve ever been able to give to a product. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.
