Hikari Algae Wafers for Pets, 0.70-Ounce

I feed pumpkin shrimp these algae tabs and they thrive and love them. They have a smell which I think helps attract them to the tablets. They immediately flock to it!

My ottocinclus go crazy over these wafers, and so do my snails. These are the only ones I feed the snails in particular because the miniscule amount of copper. There's nearly none in it, way at the bottom of the list. Copper is toxic to aquatic snails so it's great to have an additional food for them, and I like to break them up into small pieces to scatter around the tank since they expand and prevents food competition. (Also love how it creates nice biofilm for everyone to munch on when I keep the tank's lights on a bit extra!)

My mystery snail loves these. He eats 1/2 a wafer a night. He really likes these. Highly recommend.

My fish like them and they sink to bottom quickly

These are large wafers, great for plecos and related fish. I forgot they sell these in mini size, and have to break them up for my shrimp and snails. It sinks quickly, and as it slowly absorbs the water it expands and crumbles. I recommend removing excess wafer as it can get messy and affect tank parameters if you leave it in there too long. The occupants of my tank approve of the purchase!

Nice form of algae and other high protein sources in little slow dissolving wavers. All my nano tank community come and pick at them but the cory cats just love these! I bought a small package of them to try but when those run out I'll definitely be buying the larger version. These work great!

My otocinclus and shrimp love these, especially if medged in a slice of Courgette

Another good product by Hikari. The plecos, shrimps and algae eaters in my aquarium seem to enjoy these wafers more.
