Great upper level piano learning course
This is great for intermediate piano learners or most ages (not recommended for the very young). The variety of styles from classical to modern helps piano students get a full grasp on different skills and techniques needed for each type of song. The music is also interesting and can help capture attention for students who don't love classical only.We are also using this book on an adult student who is learning to be truly detailed in her technique and there are so many great stylistic pieces that she can really hone in on those skills.I would recommend this book to any teachers who want real music, but at a slightly easier level than purely advanced. It has a great variety that most students will enjoy. The one downfall for this book is that some chords are very large and harder to reach for smaller hands, be they children or small women's hands. Definitely recommend stretching before some of these songs.

Challenging
Quite a step up in difficulty from the "F" book (the only other book I've used from this series, a book which contained a few songs I couldn't master over the few years I've had it). This book, like the "F" book, offers a variety of music (mostly unfamiliar to me) to improve your performance, not necessarily to learn songs you will love to perform. Just received the book, but looks interesting and challenging. For someone like me, who never had formal lessons, the Schaum series is appealing (and recommended to me by a young woman I heard playing piano at a nice restaurant years ago).

I love the book and am happy it arrived
My music arrived in a bubble wrap envelope and was a little bent on the top right corner. But I really needed it and so don't want to make a fuss. I think it should have had some bubble wrap around the book to prevent the bending....which is permanent....and not been sent in the bubble envelope alone. I love the book and am happy it arrived. Schaum is my favorite piano course and the one I learned on growing up.

Perfect
Exactly as expected, perfect! We have gotten all of these in the series so no surprises here. That I have to use a certain number of words is silly.

Great
I recently got a piano, and since I haven't played in 30 years, decided to start over with these books I used as a kid. They are just as good as I remember!

Great for grades 6/7 students
This is a great book, full of exciting repertoire for students! But it’s definitely not grade 5 - maybe grade 6/7.

A progressive piano course for those at about Grade 5 or 6
This is a great way to increase piano skills and knowledge, with information provided with each piece. There are lots of different styles of music to play and this Piano Course is a good progressive course which is ideal for those who already have a reasonable knowledge of music.

*~*Great tutorial Books*~*
I did this course when 8 years old, I've started it again because I have not played piano in over thirty years - I'm now 58! These are great course tutorial books.

Not as good as the earlier books
Seems to get much more difficult very quickly a big jump from Book D - E, F and G - still some nice pieces.
