Actually read this and then try it yourself!!!
Ok... let me begin by saying that in spite of the other positive reviews, I was not truly expecting this to be some type of magical “get rid of all my grown out orange” purple mask.. I just hoped that, for the price, it would at least leave my hair soft and a bit more hydrated because of the extra vitamins and the aloe vera. If it really helped with the warmth, great!Wow! I was legit blown away by how much cooler a lot of my hair became (plus it did leave it feeling much healthier!)! The before and after could be better, but keep in mind that my “after” is with my hair wet/damp so it’s going to be even a little lighter!! Some of the strands/sections even brightened up back to almost white blonde! I was not expecting to actually see hardcore results and if you really look at the picture and zoom in you will see what I’m talking about as far as how much it helped tone out the brassiness!As a cosmetology student I am always looking to try out new products- especially on my bleached out hair- and I would definitely say that this little gem waaay surpassed my expectations and I would highly recommend at least giving it a try!Details: The scent is a little strong right out of the jar, but once you put it on it’s not as overwhelming and the after-scent is pleasant :) Plus, you can always just layer your favorite conditioner or leave-in after. No biggie.I did have to use more than I expected. The maskItself is creamy and medium heavy, but it seemed to absorb quickly. The disclaimer would be that I have medium-high density hair that is porous from being lightened so much. I’m including this though because if you’re looking for a purple mask your hair is probably also needing hydration like mine, haha. I’d say that at about 2x/month of usage I’ll be able to use the jar maybe 3 or 4 times. (So about 2 months).Don’t get thrown off by the lighter purple shade- it’s a lavender tone instead of a deep violet like most purple mask/shampoos. I am not sure if it’s some kind of breakthrough but I would say that this might actually be the reason it ended up working out sooo well! Plus, it didn’t stain my hands at all or turn my hair a soft shade of purple (which you can actually see a little bit of that from my previous hair mask in the “before!).I hope this review really helps someone because I know I will be ordering more. I’m excited to see if there is any kind of build-up effect or long-term brightening action from prolonged use.Try it!!

It's my first purple product & I'm a fan for sure
Ther first thing I noticed when I got this was it has the American flag on it & is made in America which is my most favorite thing about it! I love supporting American made products. I have never used purple shampoo or any purple hair care before. I have heard amazing things so I think my expectations were unreasonably high. I tried to see this as a product I hadn't heard of to be fair because I automatically expected perfection when I honestly knew nothing. I have brunette hair, but I have sone bleached parts underneath that had purple at one time. It kinda has a pinkish/orange tone now to it instead of the bleach/ blonde it once was. It took that out which I wasn't expecting at all which was nice and made my hair so soft. I honestly thought this was going to make my hair purple instead it did the opposite, but my hair was super dry and this worked great. I am happy with the results.

Brass be gone!
I recently bleached my hair to get out all the dye I had put in and attempt to get my natural blonde back...let's just say I am no professional when it comes to hair! It wasn't a total fail, but I had a lot of orange, brassy tone in my hair that was shocking! I toned it... didn't really help. Then I put an ash box dye on and wow! Fast forward a week, the dye had stopped working it's magic and I found purple shampoo and conditioner. I have tried quite a few different brands that have worked enough to keep me satisfied, but this mask takes the prize! You do have to use quite a bit and FULLY saturate your hair, but it leaves my hair blonde and soft. The smell initially seems strong, but you don't smell it on your hair when you rinse it out. It doesn't stain your hands! I highly recommend this to anyone struggling with brassy tones!

Great for highlights!
I have highlights but haven’t been able to go to the salon in 6 months for a retouch or toning due to the lockdowns. So I purchased this to use along with purple shampoo 2-3 times a week. Upon first opening the bottle, I noticed the smell is very pleasant. But the best part is the consistency—it’s whipped, almost airy! I thought I would have to apply a lot because of the light texture but it turns out half a scoop would have been sufficient. I love that it has no sulfates and natural ingredients like avocado oil and aloe vera. It’s also vegan if that matters to you. I applied it only on my ends (since my roots get oily easily) and left it on my hair for about 3 minutes before rinsing. It made my hair super smooth and the color looks a lot warmer.

Excellent hair mask for silver hair
After first use of the hair mask, I noticed the change right away in color, manageability and softness. I recommend this product to all who need to remove brassiness from bleaching.

It works!!!
I heard about purple from a friend in the UK. I decided to give it a try because I have really damaged my hair from too much processing and it actually broke in places. Geese, that was terrible.I decided to try purple To remove brassy hair, and to my amazement the next time I brushed my hair I didn’t have hair all over my brush and clothing, and my hair looked so much better, more even and not brassy.🥰I can and do recommend purple, and I know it’s expensive, but for the salon looking hair, I think it’s worth it i just in that. I used it once or twice by the time I really noticed it was looking better, and I do not over wash my hair by daily shampooing. As you stretch out shampoo days I know it may seem greasy at first, but the more time you give your hair and scalp time to adjust you’ll see that you produce less oils on your head and need to shampoo a lot less. My hair honestly never gets greasy anymore. I can wash it once a week or even ten days in between. So I definitely use purple each time as my conditioner. If I have to wash it more often then I will go ahead and use the regular conditioner, for exercise or getting sweaty cleaning and what knot.I hope you enjoy your purple as much as I do, if you do decide to try it, and I’m certain you’ll also be able to recommend it to others, friends And family, as I do.All my best wishes,Cindy
