Found this chair out in the rain at an antique show. Split seat and forsaken.... Little TLC and some refinishing and ended up beautiful. Good set of wheels finished the deal!

Inherited a "Morris" chair (early recliner perhaps 1920s or earlier) and had it restored but the old wooden casters were not working. These posts fit perfectly into the existing receiver and now the chair is fully functional. Because of their dark color, you don't notice the wheels. Good quality, soft rubber wheels so don't worry about scraping etc.

Bought these for an old bankers chair so that the wheel fit the style of the chair well. These are solidly made casters and have held up well for a long time with a lot of use. And they do come looking a bit “aged” like they appear in the picture so if you are looking for new and shiny these might not be what you are looking for, but if it’s for an older piece of furniture I give them a solid thumbs up.

Just right for antique wood office chair. Worked ok but one rubber wheel has broken at two years use. Buying again so I don't have to search for something different.

Nice replacements for original casters. Easy to install. The originals had a slightly smaller stem, so I had to drill out the hole using 11/32 bit. Tapped the new hardware in and that was it. They look great and roll and pivot well. They give the table about an inch and a half more height, which is something else we were looking for.

Was replacing wheel casters on kitchen chairs. Rubber wheels are made well however, they will not roll easlley once a person sits in the chair. Wheels roll very well if pushed by hand. Old wheels made of hard poly material began to deteriorate and leave black markings on floor. Wheels are 10 years old, will get new ones!

Update: they've all now split as in they are worthless ----! Keep looking unless you enjoy wasting money and time and enjoy frustration! We've had the casters on the bankers chair for six weeks and two wheels have broken in half and fallen off. The inserted stem is still in the chair. The wheels themselves were spongy at the beginning of use, but I had red the positive reviews and thought that they would be okay. Two have broken in the last couple of days - no idea why - so that reasoning of 'they would be okay' is false! This is frustration that I didn't need, who does?!

Worked great to replace the old wheels on my antique table. Roll great! Fit perfectly!!
