My name is Melody. My dad bought me this book when I was a kid because it was about a book named Melody and who was different. She tries to cover herself up to fit in or to look different. It teaches you to love yourself for who you are. Which I needed in my life because I was bullied at school. Thought I was ugly like this book. It talks about God too. It's a good reminder to love yourself for who you are.Growing up this book unfortunately got lost or who knows but One day I went online and found it. Thank you for having a old book available for purchase. It's a wonderful story and good memories of my dad reading it to me. I will treasure this book.Melody is Beautiful

just as I remembered as a kid

I first read this book when I was a little girl, and it inspired me at that time to embrace who I was and not try so hard to change my looks to conform to what I considered acceptable. The book uses characters from the Psalty series; a definite plus for me! This book is very fun and engaging for little readers, and promotes the uniqueness and individuality of us all; a good lesson for readers of all ages to remember.

This is a wonderful book that I remember from my childhood. Now I am buying it for my own children. The stories are heart warming and the life lessons taught in the stories are worth passing on to your children.
