My DERMagic Experience
Hello all! First of all before I begin my review, I want whoever is reading this to first and foremost know this is MY experience with these products, and every dog’s body, condition and experience will be different. I just wanted to share how it worked for my pup. If you are struggling with this black skin desease or dry skin condition, I highly first recommend you get your dog tested for the following: a blood panel, urinalysis, thyroid testing and adrenal hormone testing. My vet also took some samples of my dogs dry skin to look under a microscope to see if there were any bacteria. I recommend this in order to rule out any other underlying conditions. Based on the results, the veterinarian will recommend treatment. Make sure you do a lot of research before treating your dog. Fortunately for me, all test results came back good and the vet recommended a mousse (which made my dog’s skin dryer and worse). So I took matters into my own hands and did research. I first used the DERMagic Skin Rescue Lotion every day on the BALD SPOTS of my dog and I used the DERMagic Skin Rescue Grooming Spitz on the rest of the body (make sure you spit the hair open so the spray gets onto the dogs skin). After I finished applying I would put on a jump suit and washable diaper on my dog so the product stayed on and wouldn’t rub off while getting on the bed, couches, floor, etc.I used “KOESON Dog Recovery Suit, Dog Onesie” and the diaper was from PetSmart “Top Paw washable diaper.” I would do it every night and in the mornings remove diaper and jumpsuit.Instead of washing my dog once a month I washed her every two weeks. The day before bath, I would cover the dry areas with coconut oil and put on her jumpsuit and diaper for the night. Use extra virgin, organic, cold-pressed unrefined coconut oil.The next day I would wash her using “TropiClean OxyMed Hypo-Allergenic Oatmeal shampoo” then using “DERMagic organic shampoo bar (Peppermint & Tea Tree Oil),” then I would use the “DERMagic Peppermint & Tea Tree Oil Conditioner.”In time her black skin was slowly disappearing and her bald spots was growing back hair. Once she grew out a lot of hair and it looks great, I would just use the spray twice a week and brush her hair out 1-2 times a week. I will continue to wash her twice a month and will be maintaining her coat in great shape. I noticed this condition started as soon as I neglected brushing her hair weekly and now using spray. What also helped was applying salmon oil every day into her diet. I used Zesty Pawls brand.Consistency and patience is key! I’m on month three now of this hard work and it definitely paid off!

So Happy I tried this product! My 12 year old Pomeranian now has soft moisturized skin which lead to her hair growing back...
My little pom was losing her hair, we went to four different vets. All agreed she had alopecia x and there was nothing that could be done. I didn't want to try any of the medical treatments because they have a lot of bad side effects and it only works in 15% of cases. I tried everything over the counter for over a year & a half, by this point my little girl was bald every where except her head and paws and she had a strip of hair running down her spine like a Mohawk. Her neck and sides and butt were totally bald, then I read about this on FB from someone who had good luck with it. I purchased just the lotion first not expecting much. I used this twice a day everyday! and put PJ's over so the lotion stayed on her skin. Much to my surprise it's working!! My little pom now has thick hair on her sides and thin hair on her neck. Her legs have grown back thick as well. Now my girl is only bald on her butt and still could use thicker hair around her neck and tail. I am told those areas are the last to grow back with other forms of alopecia. I'm still using the rescue lotion ever night around her neck, butt & Tail. I don't know if it will work for you but I am glad I found this product. NOTE: I have heard that a dog that grows back their hair, didn't have alopecia x to begin with.. because alopecia x has no cure. I don't know if the 2 vets & 2 dermatologist vets were all wrong about my poms diagnosis or not. Maybe she had a different kind of alopecia. There are several causes... Thank You DERMagic

Working Slowly
I got this for my Pomeranian who all of a sudden lost her coat in her tail and back end. It seems to be working but very slowly. It is a thick sticky lotion and you need to wash the area at least every two weeks. It is a very slow process but it seems to be working slowly. If you're looking for a quick fix this is not it. I just put in the area daily and rub it in real well and off she goes. I am finally starting to see a bit of growth so I am happy about that and with this lotion as well. It is just a slow process that is all

Made my Poms hair loss WAY WORSE!
This product made my Pom’s hair loss SIGNIFICANTLY worse. Her hair loss was hardly noticeable, and slow. She had thinning areas where you could start to see the skin if the hair was parted, but it was not completely bald. NOW after ONE WEEK of applying twice a day, she has literal BALD SPOTS and we can see her skin without parting it any way. Using this product has left her SO MUCH WORSE than before. You can literally see so much of her skin now. I had high hopes based off of the reviews of others.. now my poor baby is left worse than before. It also smells HORRIBLE, and stained her fur yellow. It ends up smelling like fire crackers.
