Jesus Politics: How to Win Back the Soul of America

As is typical Phil, he does not mince his words and gets to the point. I appreciate the book and the points of interest he addresses and how he provides things to think about and consider as we enter the voting booth or just life in general, the way we engage in and/or interact with those around us, even those with opposing views.In the end, we have to make decisions and as Phil says, we make the best decision based on what God's word says, even if the person does not line up 100%, we need to do our due diligence, seek out the background information and make the best informed decision we can, all awhile, holding to our Biblical principles and hopefully introducing, teaching and leading others along the way as well.

Phil is straight forward and says what needs to be said and also heard by everyone. We need God back in the #1 spot. We also need to make informed decisions regarding politics and elected officials and choose those who best support our Christian beliefs. The world is in a state of turmoil because our government and a vast portion of our population has strayed from what God and Jesus have taught us. Love God, love your neighbors and lets get back to a simpler life with the Bible and God at the core of our existence.

Phil Robertson is simply pointing us to the One who is the savior of the world. No, the world will never be perfect...but if we put the “kingdom manifesto” in action we would be off to a good start. Great book. Easy reading. Great message. Five stars

This was a very good and timely read. Imagine having a nice talk with your father or grandfather about applying Christian principles to American Politics and Civics.....and here ya go. The book is conversational and flows quickly. The insight is biblical. It is a short but excellent read.

Excellently written book that is worth a read for ALL Americans. Hard hitting with the need to return our government to God but also teaches us to forgive the lawless ones who show no forgiveness to those with whom they disagree. It is so easy to hate those who disagree with our political views these days, no matter what side we are on, but Phil reminds us all that we are to show forgiveness and love to all (just like we wish to be forgiven for our wrongdoings - just as Jesus has done for us). Christianity is not a religion of exclusiveness... It is a relationship of inclusion for all people no matter their color, creed, political views. It is available to all and is a free gift that only has one requirement: admit that each of us is imperfect and that there is one true God who came to earth to show us the way and to take away all of our sins through the death and resurrection of Jesus in forgiving us of our sins.

Phil does s great job telling it like it is! This a guide for Christians taking action when they vote! I couldn't put the book down once I started reading it! All Americans need to think about what Phil is saying!

First time in a long time I have binge read something. Great book to read during these times. Nice to see someone famous standing up for what is right! Put the newspaper down and read something worth your time. Get this book!!!!

Got the book yesterday and dove in immediately. I love the depth of his understanding and ability to connect history, government, and the Bible.
