SealSavers Zip-On’s is a revolutionary design that allows for quick and easy installation and cleaning without having to remove your forks from the triple clamps. They act as a pre-wipe, wiping away and dirt, dust and mud that has accumulated onto the forks, preventing it from getting into your for seals as your forks compress. The SealSavers Zip-On has a unique dual-flap zipper protection system that is utilized to protect your forks from the nylon zipper. When installed and the protection flaps are sealed, Zip-On’s look almost identical to our original SealSavers Zip-On and offer the same great protection. The SealSavers Zip-On protect the seals from dust, dirt and mud. SealSavers Zip-On are durable and washable and will not effect your fork damping or preload. Simply wrap around and zip the SealSavers Zip-On onto the fork tube, slide up and cover the seals. Apply the zip tie to the largest portion of the fork tube so the fork guard rubs on the zip-tie When washing your bike, flip up the bottom side of the SealSavers Zip-Onto wash any small amount of dirt that has gathered. Be sure to flip the SealSavers Zip-On back down before they dry. Yes, you can remove to wash and re-install, however be sure to have spare zip-ties. Sold in pairs. *Note- if there is the circlip around the larger for tube, take a flat head screwdriver and pop that off. Place the zip-tie where that was to allow the fork guard to rub on the zip-tie and not on the SealSavers.

So far, so good
I haven't had a lot of time with the Seal Savers, but I have brought my new pair through the wringer, fairly quickly. I've gone through dirt, dust, sand, limestone dust, and mud...no issues. I just flip the bottom up, to clean under them, periodically...all is good. They act as a pre-wiper, so the fork scrapers and seals have much less work to do. I'm curious to see how long-term use affects the fork sliders, but I do not see any pitting or wear marks, as of yet.
