Good weight to them. The handles are a little too far apart. But they work very well!

These are fantastic for skinning cat fish. Make the job so much easier.. well worth the money. Fast delivery and great price.

Great for skinning catfish and shark
Great for skinning catfish and shark. I also used them to pull the hide on a pig I was dressing out. The wide mouth prevents the skin from shredding as with simple pliers and vice-grips. Also good for breaking sea-urchin shells into bowls so you can eat the meat right from the shell. The are very simple and heavy duty. I'll be putting some grip-tape on them later. That would be the only improvement I could recommend, unless the manufacture wants to make them a little more "duck-billed" and then add some friction lines to the tips. BUT these do work pretty darn good.
