I just received this book for Christmas and I have to tell you I am very impressed. This book is chock full of information about everything pertaining to college basketball. Although I did catch a few stat and information errors, the good far outweighs the bad on this book. The great part of the book is the box scores for the NCAA tournament from Sweet 16 to Championship Game for each year. And even the scores for each NIT Tournament game is also available for each year. Another great aspect is that for each year a few games are picked and a caption of information is given. This caption is also given for random tourney games also. The book also covers every Division I team and gives their complete team historical records. I myself am a historian for college basketball and there was many things that I learned that I had no clue about. Like I said I highly recommend this book.

This is my new favorite book. As a huge college b-ball fan, which is a direct result of being a huge IU fan, this is the ultimate coffee table book. I can pick this up any time and look at the many random facts and stats for hours. One night I forgot who the 4th team was in the 2003 Final Four and I spent over an hour looking at all NCAA tournaments and full seasons tracing back to the amazing 1976 season. The last undefeated team ever 1976 Hoosiers! Just wanted to point that out. If you like College Basketball, this is a must own book.

One of the two best encyclopedias on Division One football that I've seen. A must for any D1 college football fan.

Actually, this book wasn't for us, but for our 24-year-old college basketball fanatic son. He had mentioned wanting it, so we gave it to him for Christmas. He was thrilled and stopped opening gifts to look through it. The detailed current and historical information is perfect for him as his knowledge of the game is incredible and he said now he'll know even more!

I got this for my brother when he was just starting to get into college basketball. My husband (a longtime basketball fan) and my brother spent hours the first Christmas looking over this book and quizzing each other. They continue to bring it out when we get together to talk about stats, etc.

Great book for avid college basketball fans. Gives every bit of information you'd ever want and then some! Much larger in size than I anticipated. Amazon price almost 1/2 of major book store.

This is a great all around book. It has every single NCAA team, as well as their history, best player, etc. A lot of fun to read about your school and to learn about other schools as well. Great gift for anyone who loves college basketball.

Pas déçu du tout .Le livre s'arrête à sa date d'édition en 2009 .Pour le reste tout y est ,c'est précis , chaque équipe de NCAA Div 1 a son histoire , son meilleur cinq ,.. se rajoute à cela les tournois du mois de mars avec leur box score, c'est du très grand art et c'est un must have pour tout passionné de basketball américain universitaire.

This is a very good book. It first begins with a detailed team-by-team history which include year-by-year records,profile,top 5 players,best team,best player,best coach,fiercest rival etc. It also includes a Jeff Sagairn ranking for each team. I disagree with the rankings strongly because Jeff Sagarin ranks low teams high (La Salle,Mississippi state and Northwestern) and high teams low (Texas Tech,Tulsa,Xavier and Iowa State) It then moves onto the year-by-year standings and NCAA tournament results. It also recaps all the NCAA tournament games from the Sweet Sixteen to the Final Four. Along with that it includes the poll progression from 1949 to 2008-2009. I highly recommend this to avid basketball fans and newcomers of this great sport.
