Levy'sM25 Veg-Tan Leather Guitar Strap - Burgundy

I wanted a thin strap like what Paul McCartney used for his Hofner found it all my guitar straps are levy’s thank you

I wanted a minimal leather strap for a parlor acoustic and this strap is perfect! Very well made, seems like good quality materials. It’s simple, no frills but is perfect for my needs.

Pros:- Nice-looking leather. NOTE: picture shows light tan for 'brown' but picture wrong, it's dark brown- Good padding on shoulder padCons:- Hole too small for regular-sized strap button; (believe bigger hole would jeopardize instrument safety)- Leather straps tad shy of being 5/8" wide (too narrow to safely increase strap button hole).- Typical metal 'tongue" buckle (careful not to mar instrument). Cannot find plastic 'tongue' buckle.- Leather straps on the stiff side (presume soften up with time/use)- Returned and ordered alternative brand retro style strap with (advertised) 1" leather straps.

Update:I’ve had this strap for 8 years now and don’t have a single complaint. I’m still 5’7” and the strap is just about perfect on my Ibanez Artcore. It feels just as sturdy as the day I got it and inspires the same confidence when playing - haven’t had a single incident of this strap failing or coming loose or anything. The best part is definitely just how cool it looks. Not that I’d ever need to buy another- but if this got stolen or lost I know I’d come right back here.Awesome strap that really adds to the look. I was worried that a black leather strap would look very biker-y, and not fit the style of my Ibanez AF255. My only complaint, that isn't really a complaint, is that at its smallest it is just small enough for me. I'm about 5 '7 and it hangs just above my waist. I'm used to hold acoustic guitars just below my chest, so it's quite different. At this length it looks very natural and can always be adjusted by punching a new hole. The holes where the bridge-pins attach is also a bit smaller than I'd like, but this is the first thin strap I've purchased, so I can't say this is unusual.

This strap is made of a great, thick leather. The stitching and dye job is top quality and came out of the bag with a great whiff of high quality leather.It is a little on the shorter side vs most straps you'd buy (e.g. the fender tweed strap I'd had on my guitar before this one) however, it is plenty long enough for me at 6'0" and a lil more belly than I'd wish, to hang my Les Paul at the perfect playing height and still have probably 1.5 - 2 inches of extra strap.If you're exceptionally tall or lookin to play like Slash and have your guitar hangin all the way down to your crotch, you'll need a different strap or an extension that Levy's sells, but for most folks I'd imagine this strap will fit your needs just fine.The look of the strap is just great, very retro, very secure, and the pad is nicely cushioned. It isn't thick at all but it spreads the load and is sufficiently soft enough that I can play standing up for a couple hours and not have an aching neck, shoulder, and back.Very happy with this strap and would highly recommend it.

The vegan leather they use feels and looks awful. Feels like plastic, super stiff. Worse than the cheapest belt you can buy at Walmart. Honestly I don’t even feel safe using it with my electric feel like it might tear at any moment. Wouldn’t recommend it at 10 dollars even

This guitar strap is great!!! Good quality leather…absolutely perfect for my Martin Backpacker!!!! I took the shoulder pad off cause I didn’t need it. Highly recommend!!!!

I have seen other versions of this strap made by other companies and the leather is much softer and more pliable. This one is really hard, but I am hoping it will soften up over time. It was less expensive than the other more comfortable and softer leather versions.

El talí es excelente, se ve de buena calidad, resistente y es cómodo, aunque me gustaría que fuera un poco más acolchonado pero la verdad cumple su función perfectamente. Vi un comentario diciendo que los agujeros eran demasiado grandes y déjenme decirles que para nada! Queda perfecto y no se salen de su lugar, en todo caso si quieren mayor seguridad recomiendo comprar straplocks. El talí lo estoy usando en una Gibson Les Paul y luce bastante bien.

Queda muy bien, es de piel y muy cómoda..

Great strap something that fender didn’t know how to do go for Levy’s they are great on what they do.

I wish the padding was a little longer and wider, but it works OK. Not sure I would want to stand for 2 hours with some 10lb behemoth guitar, but an 8lb Strat for my limited use it's fine - takes up little space, is light and inexpensive.
