This tea works wonders on sore throats

This tea is AMAZING!!!!When I was a kid my babysitter (and then my mother) would always give me this when I got sick with a sore throat, cough, head cold, upset stomach, bronchitis, etc. It has a great blend of herbs that help you feel better & clear your head. Even the smell of it when you open the can is wonderful. The herbs really do help with your congestion. It contains ribwort, marshmallow, peppermint, thyme, sage, lady's mantle, yarrow, burnet saxifrage, mallow, elderberry, primrose, speedwell, horehound . Plus, it really does taste great! I remember being a kid & eating the granules straight from the can! It's so easy to make because you just mix with water... no honey, sugar or sweetener needed.I have recommended it & purchased it for many friends/family members, who have all enjoyed it. I just wish Amazon would carry it so I could "Subscribe & Save".To save you some time, here's a breakdown of the herbs taken from a variety of internet sources (I take no responsibility for the info contained here):Ribwort- effective anti-inflammatory and antibacterial agent. Ribwort is also an effective treatment for a variety of other conditions. Respiratory infection, bronchitis, asthma, and emphysema respond well to treatment with plantain, as it has a demulcent effect. This property also makes it effective for treating urinary tract infections, irritable bowel syndrome, gastritis, diarrhea, and a host of other conditions.Marshmallow - used for pain and swelling (inflammation) of the mucous membranes that line the respiratory tract. They are also used for dry cough, inflammation of the lining of the stomach, diarrhea, stomach ulcers, constipation, urinary tract inflammation, and stones in the urinary tract.Peppermint- is used to help treat the common cold, to calm inflammations, reduce pain, and to soothe digestive problems. The scent of Peppermint is energizing and inhaling its scent can result in heightened levels of energy.Thyme- is used for bronchitis, whooping cough, sore throat, colic, arthritis, upset stomach, stomach pain, diarrhea, intestinal gas, parasitic worm infections, and skin disorders. Despite the lack of clinical data, the German Commission E approved mallow for treating irritation of oral and pharyngeal mucosa, as well as for dry cough.Elderberry- Used for its antioxidant activity to lower cholesterol, improve vision, boost the immune system, improve heart health and for coughs, colds, flu, bacterial and viral infections and tonsillitis.Primrose- It contains the pain relieving compound phenylalanine, used to treat a variety of conditions.Speedwell- Is most often used been used for coughs and congestion.Horehound- Used for the common cold. Horehound has been used traditionally as an expectorant and continues to find a place in cough lozenges and cold preparations. In addition, extracts of the plant were used for the treatment of intestinal parasites and as a diaphoretic and diuretic.

It helps when you have head or chest cold. I add a teaspoon of honey, I love the flavor

This tea reminds me of tea I drank in Germany and also makes my throat feel better when sore. I love the flavor and being instant tea, it's very easy to have a nice hot cup anytime. I got this before in a German deli store but the price on Amazon is more affordable. Recommend seller and product.

I bought this for around $22 a couple of months ago on recommendation from a singer as being great for soothing throats. I thought it was expensive at the time, but worth it if it made me feel better. I went to purchase this again, and the price was almost $35! What is the reason for such a huge increase in price in just a couple of months?? I won’t be buying again unless the price goes back down.

I've purchased this Ricola herbal tea several times over the past few years. It never disappoints. Warm and soothing! Great hot or cold. I've sent some as gifts to my adult children. It's a good product that's always welcome. Easy to 'add to taste' and dissolves well.

The granules are flavorful, I adjust the flavor according to how much hot water I have in my cup. Since I cannot read the label on this package..lol. I heard about this product from a local Amish bulk food store. The owner said they used to carry this product and were now no longer able to obtain it, so they were selling Oblas instant tea in place of it. They were demoing Oblas that day, it tasted pretty nice too. He said they liked to drink it when they had a sore throat, seemed to help. Intrigued, I went to the internet and found it (Ricola instant tea) here. My seller sent me dented cans, but they were sealed, product unaffected, and discounted price. Definitely would buy again

Es ist ein tolles Produkt. Die Kräuter Mischung mit leichten Pfefferminz Geschmack ist sehr ausgewogen und es braucht keinen Zucker. Für heiße und kalte Tage. Ich habe ihn kalt und heiß getrunken und bin angenehm überrascht. Für die Arbeit, wenn man Mal einen anderen Geschmack haben möchte als Wasser. Der Preis ist gerechtfertigt und in der 3er Packung günstiger als einzeln.

Sehr schöner Erkältungstee mit einen ausgewogenen Geschmack ohne zu scharf zu sein. Sehr schnell lösslich und tut den Hals sehr gut. Bei Bedarf und ja nach Geschmack auch sehr gut mit Honig. In den Supermärkten schwer zu finden , aber hier bei Amazon gibt es ihn im 3er Pack

Der Tee schmeckt tatsächlich wie ein original Ricola Bonbon. Wers mag, der Knaller. Das Granulat löst sich auch in nicht so warmem Wasser rückstandslos auf. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen sind die enthaltenen Kalorien. Ist halt zu anderen Tees keine 0 Nummer.

This product is the best! You dissolve the granules in hot water and it is instant relieve for a sore throat, but the menthol lasts after you are done as well.Wonderful!

Le packaging de ce thé est semblable au produit vendu par Ricola en France. Toutefois ne vous y méprenez pas, il ne s'agit pas de la même recette de thé. Cette version Allemande n'a par conséquent pas le même gout que la version Française. Je l'ai trouvé plus corsé et moins relaxant.J'apprécie tout de même ce produit, bien que je suis un peu déçue qu'il soit aussi différent de la version Française.Des indications supplémentaires sur la fiche produit sont par conséquent nécessaires.
