Flawless Matte Finish
### **"Flawless Matte Finish: ETUDE Sebum Soak Pact Review"**I recently tried the **ETUDE Sebum Soak Pact**, and it has quickly become a must-have in my beauty routine for keeping my skin looking **matte and shine-free** throughout the day. This **K-beauty mineral powder** is designed to **control oil** and leave your skin feeling soft and smooth. Here’s my detailed review based on its performance, texture, and overall effectiveness.### **Effective Oil Control**The primary function of the **ETUDE Sebum Soak Pact** is to control **excess sebum**, and it delivers on this promise. If you have oily or combination skin, you know how challenging it can be to keep shine under control, especially in the T-zone. This product works by **absorbing excess oil**, leaving your face looking **matte** and fresh without drying out your skin.I’ve used it both on bare skin and over makeup, and it effectively reduces shine for hours. I find it especially useful for touch-ups throughout the day, as it instantly mattifies without disturbing my makeup or leaving a cakey finish.### **Smooth and Lightweight Texture**The texture of the **Sebum Soak Pact** is **incredibly lightweight** and **silky**, making it feel comfortable on the skin. It doesn’t feel heavy or powdery, and it blends seamlessly, giving my face a smooth, soft finish. The **translucent formula** makes it suitable for all skin tones, as it doesn’t add any color but simply works to control oil and set makeup in place. One of my favorite things about this pact is that it doesn’t settle into fine lines or pores, which is important for maintaining a natural look throughout the day.### **Mineral Powder for Soft Skin**What makes this product stand out is its **mineral-based formula**. The mineral powder not only absorbs sebum but also leaves your skin feeling soft and velvety. After applying the **Sebum Soak Pact**, my skin feels smooth to the touch, and it gives a **blurring effect** that helps minimize the appearance of pores and imperfections. It’s perfect for achieving that **K-beauty glass-skin effect** without looking shiny or greasy. The powder doesn’t dry out the skin, which is often a concern with oil-control products. Instead, it creates a **balanced, matte finish** that keeps your skin looking fresh and smooth.### **Perfect for On-the-Go Touch-Ups**The compact size of the **ETUDE Sebum Soak Pact** makes it perfect for **on-the-go** touch-ups. It comes with a **small puff applicator** inside the compact, making it easy to carry in your bag for quick shine control during the day. The packaging is sleek and sturdy, so you don’t have to worry about spills or messes in your purse.I’ve found it incredibly convenient for refreshing my makeup after a long day, and it instantly brings my skin back to a matte, smooth finish without needing to reapply foundation or concealer.### **K-Beauty Skincare Benefits**As part of the **K-beauty trend**, this product not only focuses on makeup but also offers **skincare benefits**. The mineral powder is gentle on the skin, and I haven’t experienced any irritation or breakouts after using it, which is always a concern with oily-skin products. It feels breathable and light, and it helps keep my skin looking healthy and clear by controlling excess oil that can lead to clogged pores.### **Pros**- **Excellent oil control**: Absorbs excess sebum for a matte, shine-free finish that lasts for hours.- **Smooth, lightweight texture**: Blends seamlessly into the skin without feeling heavy or cakey.- **Translucent**: Suitable for all skin tones, providing a natural, matte finish without altering your makeup.- **Compact and portable**: Perfect for on-the-go touch-ups, with a puff applicator included for easy use.- **K-beauty formula**: Gentle on the skin, offering a smooth, velvety feel and minimizing the appearance of pores.### **Cons**- **May require reapplication**: While it controls oil well, very oily skin types may need to reapply throughout the day for continued matte results.- **Small puff applicator**: The included puff is convenient but may not be as effective for those who prefer using a brush or sponge for application.### **Final Thoughts**The **ETUDE Sebum Soak Pact** is an excellent product for anyone looking to achieve a **matte, shine-free complexion** while keeping their skin feeling soft and smooth. Its **lightweight, mineral-based formula** controls oil without drying out the skin and leaves you with a polished, natural finish that lasts throughout the day. Perfect for **on-the-go touch-ups**, this compact is a must-have for anyone with oily or combination skin.If you’re looking for a reliable **oil-control** powder that fits perfectly into your beauty routine, I highly recommend giving the **ETUDE Sebum Soak Pact** a try. It’s an essential addition for anyone who wants to keep their skin looking fresh, matte, and flawless!

I truly enjoy this brand all of their products so far that I’ve used worked beautifully. I do feel as though this does help with my oiliness and is truly translucent.

Works great
I have almost always had combination skin...more on the only side. Im actually happy to find something that absorbs the shine. The powder does do what its advertised to do but if your skin is very oily, you'll have to keep reapplying....and the sponge is probably not going to help much after the first few applications. It absorbs the oil form your skin and you'll keep putting it back onto your face with each application. The only drawback is that guys probably won't have brushes to alleviate this...other than that its a good temporary fix.

terrific packaging, uninspiring product
I purchased this compact as part of my search for a blotting powder I can rely on with combination / oily skin in a subtropical climate. for reference, my standby has been Clinique's Universal Blotting Powder, a workhorse that withstands even the muggiest weather, but which is a bit forbidding so far as price goes. I've also had some success with Catrice's very affordable mattifying compact--although this formula is less breathable, making sustained wear unappealing. I'd hoped to land somewhere in the middle with this one, which is just the right size to toss in my jacket pocket. the packaging itself is terrific: I love that the applicator sponge rests upon a clear plastic shield, separating it from the product itself. (if you've had to painstakingly lift oily residue off your compact's surface, you'll get why this is top-tier design.) however, the product itself isn't what I was looking for: it goes on thinly, and is difficult to build. while you won't get a chalky cast, it's almost too transparent for me--it might take a little sheen off, but only just. the wear itself isn't exactly long-lasting; I had to reapply throughout the day as the tell-tale sheen emerged. each application was less helpful than the last; eventually, I had to admit that it just wasn't working for me.

Convenient, compact, effective, and easy!
The title of my review says it all. I have the blue sebum compact and it's great for on the go touch ups and blotting. I have light-medium skintone and it doesn't leave a cast when I blot. Pretty good!

Light and sheer!
I love this Etude powder. I usually use it over my foundation on spots like my nose and forehead to get rid of the extra shine. A couple taps of powder takes off that oily shine but leaves a slight glow to my skin, which I really like, but it’s buildable enough to the point where you can get a matte finish if that’s what you want. It doesn’t leave a white cast on my medium-tan skin, which is also a huge plus.
