For the amount of money i would go with another type. This was lost to the ocean the first time i used it

Sturdy, well-made, and fits easily in the back of my kayak. I used it several times to anchor my kayak in a lake with lots of boat traffic and it stayed put.

I bought this for my Sea Eagle 9 inflatable and it works like a charm. I added four feet of chain to sink it sideways so it could grab a hold of the bottom perfectly - which it does!
