Charge guard-Select

I bought these to control power to a siren amplifier and a mobile radio. I had problems with my truck battery dying from leaving constant power to them. I set these to come on when it senses power and to go off 5 seconds after it loses power. They work great and I don’t have to worry about turning stuff off or coming out to a dead battery.

This is a fine gadget - good for protecting your car battery while allowing accessories to be powered directly from it. It is easy to use and set up, and once installed, just works. I designed something like this professionally as an engineer - for use in a battery backed up product we manufactured, so when I say this is well done, I say that with some expertise. I had also used a previous version of this in other vehicles for about 20 years, and it did the job.I would prefer one addition - contacts to allow the over-ride switch to be closed remotely.But, this is really a fine product.

I had a huge parasitic draw wIn my vehicle with all my equipment (even with the equipment off). I used this charge gaurd paired with a small 14 watt solar charger and no need to get jump started on every call out anymore.

Works great and perfect for radio use
