PolyFoam PF080400100 Basic Foam Underlayment for Wood & Laminate Flooring, 100 sq ft, White

I was very happy to find this product. I needed a simple solution for underlayment for an attic bedroom conversion, but did not want to break the bank with more expensive products. It is a pretty, thin, underlayment material, however, I am not concerned about that, and it was not a significant problem for me.

Some of the comments say that this is about 1/4" thick I guess that it's not quite 1/16". It is VERY inexpensive compared to all that I have found and perfect for my project. I would buy again but there is so much left over I may not run out.

Material is too thin so I doubled it up

It worked well for me.

I just staple it in the corners and long sides and hammer the staples in good overlapping about an inch, cheap 7mm doesnt even notice...beats paying stupid rising costs of stickyback foam at the big box. If you want premium pay $90 a roll, if you want stable, quiet, cheap and all that is needed, this will work fine. I also tried taping with packing tape that worked fine too. It aint rocket physics. ;)

These underlayment rolls (100 sq. ft.) are poorly packaged by the manufacturer, a packaging which allows each end of the roll to be NOT strait, and exposes the rolls' end to damage during shipment. The damage to each ends of the roll caused during shipment (due to poor and careless packaging) makes for the underlayment to become crooked when unrolled on your floorings foundation. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT because it's manufacturing process is careless.

The media could not be loaded. Just got the underlayments. They actually look better than the picture they posted 😁 I got 3 from the other seller but they raised the price so I decided to get 4 more of these. They actually have the same quality. I posted a video for those who don’t know how to take out the tape and complain that it’s easy to be ripped off. Thanks the seller.
