This product is listed as IP68, it is not it is IP67 and the product itself says so on the labels, this is being mis-sold!

I would not recommend this item at all! Checked item and it was working (although the strobe/fade functions on the remote were programmed incorrectly). Placed item in my tank (not submerged, even though the description states it can be) and it would not work. My aquarium has a lid and the sensor would not pick up the signal from the remote, I assumed this was because of the lid, so I removed the lid and stuck the light to the glass just above the water level. Still this would not work, even with the remote mere cm away. I plugged in and checked in a different socket away from the water, the light worked. I thought this very strange. But the absolute deal breaker for me was that my plug socket would spark or flash when I put this product in. It comes with some sort of transformer with Chinese writing on it and I have no idea what it says. I’m not taking any chances as this product would be permanently plugged in at the wall due to the placement of my tank. Sending back for a refund and would definitely NOT recommend!

I believe this product to be poor quality with a very short life expectancy,I ordered three "VARMHUS Submersible LED Aquarium Light, 112 cm Underwater Fish Lamp Waterproof Aquarium Lighting for Fish Tank (Blue and White Color)".After 2 months I noticed they were much dimmer, on checking I found one was not working at all, by swapping the power supplies around I found it was one of the power units had completely failed, not the LED strip but all 3 units were significantly dimmer then when installed. So dim the plants were dying and you could hardly see the fish.I installed one new light of a different manufacturer and the difference was so 1000 times better.I have returned the 3 VARMHUS units and I will see how the new unit works over time!Regards K

*EDIT 12/2021* -the light no longer works just under a year later. Never been submerged, the LEDs now don’t change colour or switch on/off via the remote or button so are useless._____This light is IP67- NOT IP68 as the description states. The difference being IP67: Protected from immersion in water with a depth of up to 1 meter (or 3.3 feet) for up to 30 mins, whereas IP68 “Protected from immersion in water with a depth of more than 1 meter (manufacturer must specify exact depth)”Turned up with a bent pin on the plug so I couldn’t use it. I had a power adapter that was the same so I’ve used that one instead. Works nicely and lights up my whole tank (300l) lots of colours to choose from and varying brightness. good light for the price.

Very impressed, especially for the money. Really wish I'd bought one sooner, its given a whole new lease of life to my tired 8 year old hexagonal shaped tank.. the fish seem pretty happy with it too! 👍🏻 Very easy to install, the suction cups are quite strong, although they are situated just under the water line. (I did read a review that stated that out of the water they aren't quite as effective.)The colour range is brilliant, the pink/purple really brings out the colours in my fantail Goldfish. And the little remote works well. Would highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely fabulous and well worth the money spend. Had to revamp my old aquarium as the light fittings in my aquarium had broken .. brought this and really had little expectations of it being bright enough etc but I was so impressed. Great light . Brings aquarium to life and is super easily fitted . Would definitely recommend

I really like this light, its bright, simple and actually gives off a great amount of light.Initial installation outside is tricky as I hvmave outside plugs with covers that will not ckose over the adaptor. This was easily over come though. The remote works from about 7 meters away, any more than that it really struggles. The lights are best kept white which gives a great light.1 month in I switched the unit on tonight though and it has failed in more than one area, when on white, it has a yellow a pink and a blue area, looks like certain RGB LEDs have failed, this gives a different result depending on colour chosen.I would have expected more than one month's use, however to be honest its only had about 20 hours max and its failed. I won't be buying more which was my aim.

This pump works very well but is very noisy...The pump itself is quite but the stone ball makes all the loud noise and can stress your fish, I would buy the pump and get different air stones. The other point I would like to make is this pump is not suitable for a small tank say 12lt and below as I only use one of the outlets and the other is just wasted and blows into the room you can not switch to just one outlet only.
