The Taste of Nova Scotia Cookbook

VERY GOOD COOKBOOK AND HAVE YET TO TRY ALL OF THE RECIPES.. VERY GOOD SERVICE AND INTERESTING RECIPES TO TRY.

It is a great cook book however it was in rough shape.

This is one of my favorite cookbooks. It sets on the shelf right next James Beard and Ina Garten and is used just as often. Nova Scotia is blessed with fresh fish and abundant produce and draws on the eclectic culinary traditions of its many immigrants. These are practical recipes that are well suited to home cooks. Believe it or not, my family now asks for the baked carrots......they are great and are a wonderful change of pace side dish. I received this cookbook from a relative who visited there. And I am very grateful, as I doubt I would have found it in a bookstore. (Or looked at it if I did.....)

This is a beautiful book about Nova Scotia, it's meals, and it's people. Having a friend whose family came from this region, I wondered more about their customs and culture. This is a beautiful book. Highly recommended.

Bought as a gift for friends moving to Nova Scotia and they loved it! Although I'm still awaiting a dinner invitation.....
