The Ultimate Math Workbook - Grade 3

Just received it, looks good, we will be using it to refresh and also for added learning in measurements, word problems, fractions etc.

this book helped my son improve his math.

Our teachers recommended this book for the kids and it's great. It's an additional workbook they can use at home because our school does not assign homework. It's easy for them to read instructions and work independently. There is a ton of content - it will last a long time!

My son is currently in the second grade so i thought if he can manage 3 grade math, the second grade wont be so hard. I give him a couple pages to complete on the weekends and then we work through the ones he had a lil struggle with together but this has helped him build his confidence in math way more. The only issue i found was some of the explanations/instructions could have been more concise and easier to decipher.

If you remember the McGraw Hills workbook growing up, this reminds of it. It's easy to understand and comprehend and you can work out problems. There is an answer in the back which is helpful. I use this for extra practice for my 2nd grader. Next year he will be in the 3rd and want to make sure we compare what he already knows now to what we should prepare for. GET THIS BOOK. I also use the IXL app but paper is always helpful as well.

The skills are broken down in a clear, accessible way, the layout is easy to follow, and the content matches the standards they’re working on in class. I’ve been using it during small groups and individual sessions, and it’s really helping my students feel more confident and capable. A definite 5-star resource for reinforcing grade level math!

I bought this book a while ago for my little brother who is in 3rd grade and is falling behind. The pages are colorful, and while of course he is bored regardless, he doesn't fully hate it compared to other textbooks, so that's a start! It's durable, and there is LOTS of content in this book to cover, so I think it's very useful, I would rather buy this than have 5 different textbooks for every subject. Amazing booklet, the questions are also not too hard for him, but they challenge him to think!

I recently bought this book for my grade 3 daughter who was struggling with Math. Math is taught online in her classroom and they use an online program to answer questions. This does not align with her learning style. I bought this book based on reviews and we have IXL online for Ontario grade 3. I love how attractive the book is. It is bright, colourful, the math equations are well spaced out allowing room to write out word problems in equation form to figure out the answers. It starts off with the basics and gets more complicated in gradual steps. It is building great confidence in my child as she works through the pages. I deducted a star from this book as I expected the skill ids listed in the book to align with IXL online. It DOES NOT align to IXL Ontario grade 3. I now need to search IXL to find to corresponding skills to match the workbook.
