Although this movie can at times be difficult to watch because of how Jackie was treated in the beginning of his professional baseball career with Brooklyn, this movie is fabulous. Also a hugely important story to tell.

A wonderful interpretation of Jackie Robinson's hurdles to a MLB career. Chadwick Boseman transports the viewer to 1947 with his magnificent portrayal of Jackie Robinson. Harrison Ford helps keep you there with a brilliant performance as Branch Rickey, a man ahead if his time.
