Ryan Aerator Parts, Ryan # 545846 Axle Shaft Old Style 5/8" Use with Bushing & 1-Nut

This was what I needed to fix the ancient Ryan aerator I was using when the axle broke. It fit perfect. My axle did not come with a nut, so I had to used the battered one from the old axle which had a few decades of hardened grease on it- that is somewhat ridiculous, as a new nut should have been provided because obviously it is a necessity. Who wants to order a relatively expensive axle and then have to make an additional trip to a hardware store for to find a nut that this company could have sourced for a few cents? Makes no sense. Other than that, the part was fine.
