Good alternative for cleaning
This works great and you don't have to soak the material. It got the stains out and made the upholstery look new.

Trust the process
I purchased this to clean the upholstery on my dining room chairs. At first it didn’t seem to be lifting anything.I switched the scrub cap for a scrub brush I had on hand. I sprayed a second time and let it sit a while longer. Then I used a damp cloth to work it in a little more.At that point it still wasn’t looking as clean as I had hoped, but once dry, my chairs look great.I wish I had done a before photo.

Works incredibly well!
This stuff is amazing! We use it in the car, as well as rugs, carpets and furniture in the house.

Works Great on Microfiber
I purchased this cleaner as a last ditch effort to make my ivory microfiber couch look decent. Apparently, there are different grades of microfiber. I own an ivory microfiber chair that very easily wipes clean with a damp rag. My couch however, must be the lowest grade of microfiber, as even spilling a little bit of water on it leaves irremovable rings. I've tried many different cleaners and almost everything leaves rings. After reading the reviews of this cleaner, I decided to get it even though another reviewer said that it didn't work on microfiber. I was at the point that even if the cleaner left one big ring on my couch, it would be an improvement over what it currently looked like. When it arrived, I followed the directions and sprayed it on my couch (it honestly looked so terrible that I didn't even bother with doing a test spot). When I got to the step where you wipe the couch down with the rag, I was amazed to see that I could actually see the dirt comming off on the rag. When the couch dried, I was excited to see that it was indeed much cleaner and that it got rid of nearly all of the water rings that were already on the couch. Most importantly, since I had scrubbed an entire cushion, I didn't have any new water rings. After continuing to use it, I have found that if I deeply satuarate a small spot, I will get a water ring. In order to prevent this, I spray lighly on areas with water rings, and if I do have a really dirty spot, I make sure to spray lightly around the edges and to use the scrub brush to "fan" it out so there isn't a distinct line between the dry and wet spots. By doing this, I have been able to spot clean without having to deal with water rings.I've also used the cleaner on my higher quality microfiber chair, and it did not leave any water rings, even without using the careful method I've outlined above. I've almost competely used up the can I purchased and have ordered two more. With a toddler in the house, I've been using it nearly daily, and this product will be something I will continue to have on hand for years to come.

Mixed results
Helped make an oil (ointment) spot on my light colored upholstered desk chair less visible. But it added a ring around the spot where the spray touched. Although I was able to get the ring less visible after scrubbing the area with a wet rag. So I ended up a bit better off than what I started with. There wasn’t a good spot on the chair to do a test application. If I had a good way to tape off the affected area I’d try applying it again to see if the spot could get even less visible.Note this is a GIANT can - a smaller size for cheaper would be nice.

Worked to remove dirt from light beige cushions with cleaning code S
I bought a used sectional in a very light beige color. After arriving home and unloading the truck I realized that the tarp I had used had some dirt or grease on it and that it had gotten on to ALL of the cushions. I could have cried because although this was a used piece of furniture it wasn't cheap. I saw cleaning code S on the tag and realized I needed a solvent based cleaner and couldn't use soap and water. I couldn't find anything at our local stores so I went to Amazon and found this product. It was shipped prime 2 day and the day it came I took the cushions outside and cleaned them according to the instructions on the can. It was AMAZING and all of the staining came out. The smell of the product isn't bad but again I used it outside so I don't know what it would smell like in a more concentrated indoor area. I would recommend this product to anyone with fabric that needs a solvent based cleaner.
