For some reason, a few keys on remote do not work. The seller did not only give me tips, but also sent me a new unit. The light looks perfect for my aquarium. Will buy again.

This is a beautiful light, it has great functions and it has a full spectrum look to it. I like to sleek look of the light itself and I like having a remote for it.Ironically you have to be only a few inches away for the remote that came with it to work, but my dish and fire Stick remote sometimes change the lighting scene from across the room! Not a deal breaker for sure. I just had to put a small piece of tin foil over the receiving portion of the light to make sure it didn't change while I'm watching TV

Our old aquarium light died, so we decided to upgrade to this one. I’m glad we did! This light is awesome! I love how you can customize almost every aspect from brightness to color and even sunrise and sunset options pre-programmed! The only issue I’ve found is that the remote works only when in very close proximity and only when aimed directly at the sensor on the light which is a bit odd. This could be caused by the way we have our aquarium situated in a corner, but it’s not a deal breaker, as the light still works great!

This item is terrible I bought two of them they replaced one already and neither of them work anymore. Bought 3 months ago

Remote stopped working after 6 months. Only turns on and off now.

These lights make our aquarium look so nice. The only problem we had was that every remote we had adjusted the lights when the lights are on. Do just put tape over the front of the sensor and that fixed the problem.

So it’s plenty bright. My complaint comes from the timer inside. When you set to the full day run it doesn’t run for the times per color as described. It starts orange and works to bright then back to orange then blue to simulate a full days light. But the time for orange and blue are not correct and it just repeats. Would assume to program it to shut off after moon light and then it would kick back on 8 hrs after. So over all it’s ok. The moon light lasts an hr then it kicks back to orange and that runs 30 minutes then back to full white. Just disappointed in not being able to use the function. Oh well maybe the little more costly ones operate better. But for price it works as I need.

I tried to contact the company to no avail. Amazon couldn't help me.

Great product I’ve been using it for a while now and I don’t have many complaints. Rather than the little protruding arms I would’ve rather liked some adhesive to attach it to the glass. I’m afraid someone will knock it over
