Great addition and upgrade to the kitchen
Incredibly easy to use, the bread selection makes it so much easier to get the toasting done right. It looks clean and modern for the kitchen. 10/10 would buy again.

Expensive, but worth it
Our old toaster broke unexpectedly, so we decided to find a replacement. My husband ordered this one, and I was a little concerned because I figured it was a little pricey for a toaster. But as soon as it came, I realised why the price was so high. It has some fantastic features. You can customise the cooking time based on the type of bread you're toasting (normal, gluten-free, fruit bread, bagels, crumpets). There is a handy countdown feature to let you know how much time is left to toast. You can even peek at your bread while it's still cooking without interrupting the toasting process. Also, it looks great on my counter. Will probably look to purchase the matching kettle next.

Nice design, slightly let down by performance
First and foremost the design is great, love the whole aesthetic. This toaster is let down by it's toasting performance, more times than not you will get an uneven toast regardless of what item you put into the slot; be it a crumpet, bread or waffle. The first few uses resulted in a very strong burning plastic smell, which over time has dissipated with more uses. I'd also like to note that most large slices of bread will result in the top side being untoasted and thus needing to be flipped over if you want browning on that part of the bread. I also attempted to turn the bread onto its side in an attempt to have full coverage of the slice which would jam the lifting mechanism as a result and is not recommended. Aside from the points mentioned it was a decent toaster although the price is on the higher side I think you're paying for the appearance more than the performance in my opinion.

Brilliant toaster with loads of toasting options
When our 10 year old Dualit lite packed up we looked at getting another one but the prices were a bit high.We definitely wanted a bagel option and ideally able to use the toastie cages from the dualit we had purchased. This one ticked all the boxes and even had copper accents to match our kitchen. We always use warburtons toastie bread which is a big slice. These fit in length ways giving you a nice even slice of toast. The dualit toastie cages fit perfectly. The amount of options is brilliant and I would say we use the majority of them. We use this on a daily basis toasting bread, bagels, crumpets, pancakes, waffles and toasties. My Mum is gluten free and the option is brilliant. I believe it does a slightly lower heat for longer so really toast gluten free bread without burning it.I initially thought the toaster was a bit expensive and the options a bit gimmicky. However I am very pleased with this toaster and would recommend it to anybody.Happy toasting!

Toasts evenly and I like the settings
Really happy with this toaster. I like the look of it and it toasts very evenly. The settings are great and they actually work! It toasts raisin toast, bagels and normal seed bread very well. Probably one of the best toasters I've had. I also bought the matching jug and it's great too.

Nice toaster, but neither original nor replacement worked properly.
We owned a good Breville toaster for many years. When it gave up the toast (and the same model was no longer available), we bought this newer equivalent model. It arrived - very nice too. I liked the way you pick the sort of bread you are toasting, and you can see how long you have left with a countdown of lights-bars.But one day after arrival the right side would no longer lock down. It looked like a simple mechanical problem, but the toaster has tamper proof screws, so we were forced to return rather than repair. Assuming this was a one-off problem we asked for a replacement which arrived the next day (excellent service from Amazon). The new toaster didn't work properly either. The left side took about 30 seconds for each light-bar to count down, meaning toast was overdone, whilst the right side took 5 seconds for each light bar, meaning you'd have to toast even white bread 3 times on the most aggressive setting before it would brown. No doubt we'd get used to how long to give the toast on either side, but it clearly wasn't working as it was supposed to.If you get a working example, I'd expect you'd be very pleased with this toaster. But in our case we didn't opt for third time lucky. We have returned it and bought a different brand altogether.

Good but not great
This is a very smart looking toaster, and is basically ok. Bought to replace the previous model Breville, and despite the additional bells and whistles it isn't as good. Slots aren't deep enough for Warburtons Farmhouse sliced bread, and toasting is uneven across the slice. That said it is adequate and once you have adjusted the 'browness' setting it does produce consistent results.

Amazing for Gluten Free Toast
THE best toaster we've found for our GF bread. It makes the most amazing toast, the slightly slower GF setting cooks it to perfection, nice crisp crust and perfectly cooked middle. No need to cook our toast twice any more to get it decently done. Tried it on stale bread too and it makes it taste fresh again. No more slight cardboard taste to old GF bread, this really is THE best toaster for Coeliac's. Now, it would be even better if it had a higher lift function as GF bread tends to be tiny, but we can happily live with this for the best toast we've had since being GF!
