Outdoor Ventures vs 33,000Ft review
We purchased one of each of the two top-rated women's rain jackets on Amazon, the Outdoor Ventures and 33,000Ft rain jackets. They both have the same rating and about the same number of reviews, so we decided to try one of each and compare.Upon inspection, we can't tell a difference between these two jackets. One of them was less expensive than the other, so that would be the only factor I would use to decide between the two. They both make a lot of noise and are more "crinkly" than we would like, but otherwise, they both seem well made. They both fit true to size, but slightly on the smaller side, especially for layering. The jacket is well designed from a functional standpoint, even though its not as fashionable as one might wish. It seems like it will be very serviceable. I'll update this if we have any problems when actually using these, but they seem waterproof and even the XL folds easily into its pouch. From our viewpoint, even though these are labeled for women, they seem unisex and aren't more slimcut so they should be able to fit men, women, or children as long as you order up or down from standard women's sizing as needed for men or children.

Stylish Protection
I purchased the Outdoor Ventures Packable Rain Jacket for our Alaskan cruise, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. This jacket was exactly what I needed for the trip.I typically wear a 2XL, but I opted for a 3XL for this jacket, and it turned out to be the perfect size. The fact that it came with a compact bag for easy packing in my luggage was a convenient bonus. Whenever I needed the jacket, I simply pulled it out of the bag, and it performed fabulously. The color was great, adding a stylish touch to my outfit.During the rainy days in Alaska, this jacket provided me with excellent protection. Its lightweight design made it comfortable to wear, and it was just perfect for the unpredictable weather on the trip. I highly recommend this rain jacket for anyone seeking a reliable and stylish option for outdoor adventures.

Great jacket, definitely waterproof and packable in backpack
I love this jacket. Perfect for my trip to Ireland and easily fit over a hoodie for warmth when caught in wind and rain at the Cliffs of Moher. I'm 5'1" and 170 lbs and the Large fit perfectly; not too long in the sleeves with the Velcro closures. Beautiful color of teal. Nice pouch to keep it in my backpack. And it dries very quickly.

Stylish, Well Made Rain Jacket
Pros: Love the vibrant color. It's very well-made, not cheap and flimsy like so many products bought online. Several pockets for keys, phone, hands, etc. Mesh inside to help with airflow. Hood is deep to keep hair and face dry. Love that it rolls up into a small pouch for packing. Price was great for such a well-made jacket.Cons: I would like it to be longer in the back to keep my rear end dry should I need to sit somewhere that's wet. I bought it for a cruise and it's very likely I'll end up having to sit somewhere that's wet from rain. I wish the cuffs on the sleeves were elastic rather than velcro. I'm not a fan of velcro because it sticks to certain kinds of fabric and leaves pills, plus it's just not as comfortable a fit when velcro is used instead of elastic. All in all, the pros well outweigh the cons, so for the price, I'll likely keep it and use it. Even if I end up purchasing another one that's longer in the back, this one will be great to wear.

Inside pocket, water proof, good for plus size
I wore this in Scotland last October and will be wearing it soon in london. I have tried many many rain coats being 5.1 and 200 lbs sleeves are always long or doesn't close on the tummy. This fits well. And inside pocket had zip so good to hide wallet. Not flimsy, doesn't crinkle and for me I like that I can still put it in my bag. Nice lining.

Great pockets, soft and very functional
I am actually excited to leave a review!! I bought this jacket for 2 main functions: Kauai in April (warm rain) and Yosemite spring waterfalls in May (cold melting snow). I can easily make this raincoat work for both. First of all this is soft and not crinkly at all. Easily stuffable in a small bag (included). Lots of nice pockets inside and out with sturdy zippers. Love the large armpit zippers and the beautiful teal color. I am 5-4, 132 lbs and I followed the recommendation in other reviews and ordered a size up, which for me is a large. This fits me 1/2 to a full size too big and I could have easily stayed with my normal size medium. This means it will be a bit large for our Kauai trip but roomy enough to wear layers under it for Yosemite in spring. It covers my butt while standing and has many bungee type adjustments, but not one for the waist. I would not call this little jacket flattering but it will be very functional and that is what I bought it for. I would not hesitate to give this purchase a try; I am extremely happy with it!

Well made, waterproof and stylish
When you have to walk a dog 4x a day in all kinds of weather, quality rain gear is essential. This jacket provides great protection against wind and rain while looking great. Ichose the teal blue color and it's beautiful. The fabric is durable, and the seams are tightly sewn and fabriccovered to prevent any water seeping through. I've worn this in heavy rain and it kept me perfectly dry, thanks to the generous hood and velcro- adjustable sleeve openings. This jacket also has lots of zippered pockets for all my gear...keys, phone, doggie treats, poop bags, you name it. It even folds up into a little matching pouch for travel, thou i haven't used that yet. And you get all of this for about half the price of the name brand versions you find in sports stores.

Perfectly packable
This jacket has everything I was looking for: waterproof, breathable, venting under arms, packable, adjustable hood and cuffs, and four zippered pockets, including one on the inside.

Good jacket
Very good jacket to protect against the wind, with a jumper underneath you can be warm even with 5 degrees outside. If it doesn’t rain a lot it keeps you dry
