I have been scouring reviews trying to find a silent. Our old one beeped loudly at every possible opportunity. I could only find clear statements that kettles could be muted on £150+ models so I gave up and ordered this one. I was pleased to find that it does not beep much and when it does is quite quiet. Even better, a 3 second press of the power button totally silences it. Other plusses are the bar that shows how far through the heating process it is, the illuminating of the 80, 85, 90 and 95 degree buttons as it reaches those on its way to 100, and the display of the temperature of the water after the kettle turns off until it gets below 80. The only minus I have found, on early use, is that the minimum amount of 250ml does not come high enough in the kettle to show in the volume level window but I don't think that will be a problem. I'm hoping it will keep working for a long time.

I couldn’t be happier with this kettle! The stainless steel design is sleek and way better than plastic—feels more durable and just gives a cleaner, higher-end look. I love that I can choose the exact temperature I want, whether it’s for tea, coffee, or anything else. It boils incredibly fast and even keeps the water warm afterward, which is super convenient.It’s easy to use, works like a charm, and has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen appliances. Definitely a five-star purchase!

The kettle works well and looks good, but beware if you have problems lifting, it is quite heavy. Value for money is reasonable.For the record Breville products in the UK have nothing to do with the actual Breville company in the US. They are manufactured and marketed under a brand name licence. Real Breville products are marketed in the UK under the Sage brand.

This is a lovely and easy to use kettle ,, it works ok however after 3 months have using it , it suddenly stop bleeping so I don’t know when it’s boiled unless I am in the kitchen,,

I have it for a month and so far I am happy. It is neat, boils water very quickly, has quite a large capacity. I am happy with the purchase.

Nice bit of kit , easy fill and no spillage when pouring. Do like the different temperatures for the different drinks

Bought this in July 2022 - Now April 2024 - The best kettle ever bought.heating at 3kW to any of the pre-set temps 80C-100C (5C steps) is fast.Never had to descale (UK portsmouth area), it just flakes off the flat heating element, the flakes of calcium carbonate are caught by the removable spout filter and can be rinsed out later.Mostly used at 90C as Yorkshire TEA brews nicely at this level and of course does not fill the kitchen with clouds of steam, plus saves money on power use.NEVER had a problem with leaks, rust , lid, handle, filling level or the wipe clean unique touch display.Having a led progress bar is a good indicator of time to go, as is the internal illumination leds while heating.The time up beep is fairly quiet, and may not be heard , but as the current temp is always shown on the buttons its no hardship to just select temp again. Seconds to reheat.Expensive but a lot more versatile than a plain old type steam generator, and YES its made of metal and will get hot, which is obvious to me but not others its seems.

The Kettle looks amazing, would recommend, the only thing I wish was different is the lid, it would be better if it popped up instead of having to be pulled off and completely removed from the kettle
