This is my all time favorite rod. I bought it from sportsman’s warehouse. The salesman sold me on it by demonstrating that if you press it against someones adams apple and hold the handle while they talk, you can feel the sound waves come through the rod. It is incredibly sensitive.This rod catches fish. I feel everything and I rarely miss fish.This rod flings lures a good 30 yards without effort.I paired this with the new daiwa Legalis lt 3000. They pair perfectly and it is by FAR my favorite combo.I let my friend give this rod a whirl and he immediately wanted to buy one.Also the rod is beautiful.I have only had it a few months so i cant speak to long term durability, but phenix seems to have a decent warranty program.
